Day 4 of #julycampnanowrimo is all about time vs. length. My interpretation of this idea is more about time. ✨ The time it takes to write a novel is very personal. Especially a memoir, well that is how I feel at this moment. Once I knew what I wanted to write and share with the world, it was easier to finish writing the book. Then came the editing and second, third and fourth rounds of editing before I sent off the manuscript to my editor. All the little things involved with writing and self-publishing your work takes time. It's okay to take the time that is needed to release your work to the world. ✨ I struggle with self doubt when I hear of other writers writing and self-publishing their books every six months, some even put out 4 - 5 books a year. I know I can not compare myself to others. This is my journey and I am the only one who can write my books. ✨ With that being said, I am aware of the distractions of our big move across the country has taken on my creative life, and every day I am getting back to the page longer and longer. It feels good to be in the creative flow, right where I belong. ✨ Thank you for being here with me today. Wishing you a great day! - - - #junewritingchallenge19 #writingcommunity #writingprompts #writing #writinglife #writer #instawrimo #mindset #happywriter #creativelife https://www.instagram.com/p/BzgKM7IFhkp/?igshid=13m0pxfo57gvh
