Just finished watching the new episode of Trigun Stargaze. That was absolutely incomprehensible. I didn't really have much faith that they'd be able to wrap things up in one more season. Now they're introducing new characters and new plot beats with only 11 episodes left. Not to mention how they'll have to fast track every storyline to reach a possible conclusion!!! This is not new criticism from me, but I absolutely believe that the writers have a fundamental misunderstanding the core themes of the manga. It doesn't help that they keep placing key ideas and plot points into character dialogue as if the audience is to dumb to pick up on visual storytelling. I have a difficult time with media that does not trust its audience to pick up on key details, and Trigun Stargaze seems to have very little of that faith.
I'm really not sure if I'm going to be able to keep up with the rest of the show. I tried to have a measured opinion on the first season, but I don't think I'm going to bother with the second one. Don't even get me started on the noticable decline in quality of the animation. Everything about the first episode screams rushed. The random insertions of 2D animation??? I know that it is absolutely not the fault of the animators, it's always the studios that push crunch and completing new seasons as quickly as possible. It just sucks to see from Studio Orange, especially considering how much I've enjoyed other shows produced by the studio.

Sometimes I think the most effective way for me to cleanse my space is to just scrub at it and tell the unneeded energies to fuck off.
On days when I need a little witchy boost for productivity, I have to remind myself that it shouldn't be about forcing action. It should be about clearing the way so that I can move forward.
Part of my practice is knowing when to pause, when to sit, and when to let the silence speak first.
For me, spring cleaning isn't just about getting everything tidy and spotless. It's about making space for what's on its way back.
So I open the windows, clean the counters, sweep the floor, etc so that whatever is returning in the new season has a place to land.
