Tae was largely a creature of instinct. When something set off a trigger in her undeath-addled mind, whatever action it told her to take, she would immediately jump on. Her time wandering the streets alone had her acting on such impulses quite a number of times- whether it was a flash of pinkish-red hair, a blonde ponytail, or an elegant kimono, many a civilian found themselves leapt upon by the babbling young woman, expressing great affection toward them before she would freeze up. It wasn’t one of her friends. It never was. As they ran in bewilderment and terror, she might have felt embarrassment if she possessed inhibitions about...well, anything.
By the seventh time, some lucidity had managed to make itself known in her semi-aware brain. A realization that resonated deep within her...that she was alone here. She had begun to keep to herself on the streets, retreating into alleyways whenever she could, looking for anything to distract herself, to keep herself from looking for her fellow Franchouchou members, even unconsciously. At the moment she was tucked away in the shadows, laying over a dumpster and lethargically scarfing down a discarded hotdog someone had left behind. her eyes staring dead ahead, but seeing nothing. She just wanted to sleep forever once again, let time in this awful place pass her by if she wasn’t going to...
...What?
Against Tae’s will, a passing figure caught her attention. A brief glimpse of short, fluffy white hair, with two long tails of it trailing behind...she recognized that, she knew it. That had to be...!
But she was uncertain. She couldn’t know. She was probably wrong anyway. So she managed the willpower to keep herself reserved, carefully getting off the dumpster and walking to the end of the alleyway. Slowly, she peeked around the corner, bracing herself against the wall, and, with as much clarity as she could manage, called out one name.
“...Uuuahnghkkoouagh...?”
