It would have been impossible to not recognize the fashionista. After all, her face was known for being just about everywhere one might look. Kyouko wasn’t one to pay much attention to gossip or fashion magazines, but she wasn’t entirely clueless. After all, they had been listed as classmates. Something that, oddly enough, felt like a lifetime ago. An uneasy sensation filtered into the back of the detective’s mind. Something else she couldn’t make sense of. For now. It would be filed away to contemplate some point later. Of course, her expression remained neutral as ever.

He raises his eyebrows at her words - who the hell says something like that so casually? If she was looking for a reaction, she had it in that moment. Usual scowl returning seconds later, he looks away briefly before glancing at her again.

“What --- what do you even want to talk about?” What could they possibly have in common? Even if they did find something to talk about, Keith wouldn’t keep up. He has never been good with conversation.
