β€· taesan isnt exactly the sharpest tool in the shed (lol!) so.. he's made the assumption that one of your closest friends is silently challenging him for the spot and title of "y/ns boyfriend", although.. taesan already has that title (atleast in your head).
you get ready to go to the koz cafe to get your schedule for the week, feeling a little nervous about the whole being a new hire is slowly getting to your head. as you finish the last preparations for getting ready ; making sure you have everything you'll need, phone, portable charger, etc etc. a knock at your doors makes she pause
"come in" you say, turning your head to look at your younger brother woonhak. he looks a bit curious as to why your getting ready and where youll be going.
"so... where ya off to?" he says as she casually plops down on your bed. eye's focusing on how ur prepping yourself ;; checking to see if your getting ready for a date, a hangout, or something else.
"going to work, I just got hired a koz cafe and I'm heading in to get my schedule for the week." you reply, continuing to make sure you look presentable and not too fancy. woonhaks eyes shoot up for a split moment as gears turn in his head.
"oh really..? leehan hyung mentioned a new hire at the cafe, hey wait! that's cool that you two will be co-workers!" woonhak beamed lightly, perhaps you working with leehan will help taesan get closer to you. Woonhak may not show it, but he's secretly rooting for taesan to win your heart as he knows the truth; you want taesan just as much as he wants you .
eventually you leave, making your way to the cafe feeling even more nervous. knowing your crushes best friend works at the same place you'll be working at makes your heart beat even quicker. you can feel the sweat on your palms increasing as you approach the building, eyes landing on the person working at the register β kim leehan, the person closest to your crush.
before you enter you take a deep breath, trying your best to not let yourself look nervous or scared as you want to make a good first impression to leehan, both since your a new hire, and obviously because you want his best friend. once you walk up to the register leehan shows a soft smile before speaking "you're y/n, right? woonhaks older sister?"
you nod and smile back at the male, "yeah, you're uhm.. if I remember correctly, leehan..?" you lightly murmur, even though you know who he is you don't want to appear like a stalker for knowing his name.
"yeah, what can I do for you today? you here to order something?" he questions, tilting his head slightly as he puts both hands on the counter and leans forward.
"uhm.. I'm here for my schedule for the week, I'm the new hire" you nervously reply, looking away for a moment before looking back at leehan. you watch as his eyes widen slightly and a little grin crosses his face.
"Oh! yeah I gotchu, follow me to the back real quick." he says as he leads you to the back and to the manager, you smile and mutter a thank you as he walks back to the front.
after getting your schedule, leehan approaches you once more, sitting down at the table across from you before asking you a question. "so, when are you working?"
"I'm working wednesday to saturday from eight am to eleven am for training, why do you ask?" you reply, looking up at him whilst sliding your printed schedule across the table towards him. he reaches out for the paper and reads over it.
"seems like you'll be training under me, don't let me down okay?" he jokes as he gives your schedule back to you. his little joke making you let a soft laugh out. "don't worry, i won't." you say back, folding the paper up and putting it into your bag.
