“Do we have to do any last minute alterations?” Dawei asked, giving Minji once over as he tried to make sure every curl he had put on her head was absolutely perfect. The ceremony was going to be small; those currently in the asylum and within Jun and Minji’s circle were all that were going to be in attendance. It didn’t require anything fancy but Dawei wanted to make sure everything was perfect for Minji, This day was a long time in the making and everyone was a bit on edge with twinges of nervousness.

Especially the groom, who was in Hana’s room pacing more than he should have, getting primped and preened by Hana and Athenais (mostly Athenais who was trying to get him to calm down while Hana helped Tiger Lily get dressed in between the young one’s several iterations of wanting to be held by Hanunnie.) Finally, just to get Tiger Lily to calm down, Hana announced she was going to go check on Dawei and Minji, picking up the 5-year-old and quickly ducking out of the room before Jun or Athenais could say anything, making her way down the hall to knock on Minji’s door.

“It’s Hana and the baby! Are we decent in there? Can we come in?”

He paced in front of Minji’s door several times before he bent down to knock on her door and slide the folded up piece of paper he had wrinkled in his anxiety underneath her door. He then resumed his pacing, waiting to see if she would read it and if she’d open the door at all.

Minji... You know what? I think I'm a horrible person. I'm not really sure how long it's been since I've been granted my own body but I'm still thinking like an alter. I go so long between being able to see you that I forget that I can come see you whenever I want right now, that I don't really have to wait at all. And I need to apologize for that. Because for all my complaining about not being able to see you or hold you or talk to you, I have dont none of it. Which makes me the biggest fail of a fiance that every walked this planet. But, I really need to apologize because I owe you two anniversaries and two Valentine's day worth of affection and attention. I wasn’t able to do anything for you last year because I wasn’t around and this year, even though I am around, it seems as if I can’t manage to get myself together long enough to do anything benefiting of your care for me. So, if you're willing, I want to dedicate this entire day to you and everything you want to do. Just call me Slave Jun. I'm yours 100%. I know it probably won't make up for everything I've done wrong but I hope that it will be a good start. I’ll be right outside your door if you even want to see me. I love you, Sunflower. Happy Valentine’s day.

“Babe?” Jun hums out, an attempt to get his wife’s attention as she trails behind him, her fingers barely wrapping around his. “Babe?” he calls out a bit louder, head turning to glance behind him, wondering if she was even looking at him.

She wasn’t. Her eyes were focused on an imaginary spot on the floor. Jun sighs, a click of his tongue following as he turns around and Minji bumps into him, not realizing he had even stopped walking.

“Hey, are you here, Sunflower, or here?” he asks, tapping her forehead and hoping to get her full attention.

Jun leaned back in his chair, pencil still between his fingers and a page of lyrics gliding toward the floor as Minji firmly placed herself between him and his desk, taking her seat in his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck. Of course, the action short-circuited the neurons in his brain for a few moments. His head tilted to the side while he placed his pencil on his desk, both hands now resting on her thighs. 

“So.... I guess I’m done?”

Jun hadn’t expected their wrestling to turn into something a little less playful and a bit more serious after MInji had pinned him to the floor for a tie. He thought they would have just laid there for a few moments before starting an epic tie-breaking death match for the ages. And even after his wife’s hand slid up his thigh and hip once she had flopped down beside, he still thought that was plan. Until her hand slipped under his tee, not to wrap her arm around his waist, but to not so subtly move his shirt upwards.

He moved the arm covering his arms slightly to catch a glimpse of her, trying to make sure that he wasn’t misinterpreting anything. Neither one of them were really good at making first moves (well, he wasn’t and he admitted that) and he was slightly caught off guard, and gauged the situation the best way he knew how:
