Look to the sky, do you see the sparks? The flash? The brilliance? Crimson clouds carry on, carry on. Over it all, over it all. A blackout I desire, to be the brightest in sight. Eyes on me now, eyes on me. -♃

I think i saw Jupiter from my house?
Writing my 1st experience of trying to see planets from my house.
Been looking at the sky for the past 2 days but it has been cloudy and today happened to be a clear night.
I saw 2 little white dots from my frontal house which is facing west side.
i believed the lower dot i saw was Venus? I saw it for a while then it vanishes to the dark like 10 minutes?
But the other dot i saw which located like higher which was not flickering was Jupitar, i think? i took my monocular telescope and tried to focus on it, i saw it strips but i also saw spinning? Cuz the strips since to be moving from left to right every time i tried to see. My hands were tired holding the telescope. I was standing outside the house.
I also used my phone to take pics, but it was so blurry and it was a little white dot.
I then tried to see it again from my room with the telescope. And i believed i saw an asteroid at front of Jupiter? It was moving like center then it was on the right side, then back to the center. It made me so confuse cuz I couldnt see the dot round but an asteroid silhouette.
After 30 minutes trying to capture it with my phone and camera by putting at behind the telescope, my arms got tired and next thing i know the dot was not there cuz the clouds has covered it :( .
Update: I did bit of googling and turns out the asteroid i saw was actually Jupiter's moon, Amalthea. By looking pictures of its moon, it matches what i saw that night.
the thumbnail generation looked more like maybe a hyperreal render of a shot from titan or something. After an upres or two the elements became dreamy and painterly. I liked it because it reminds me of a recurring nightmare I have of being stranded in space and falling into jupiter's atmosphere
