Studying with Bakugou is an entire ordeal. Most of the time its only an ordeal because Bakugou starts yelling and hitting when Eijirou purposefully stops focusing.
And he does that because it gets hard to just sit for longer than an hour focusing on school with his crush and not mess around.
Sometimes it leads back to actual studying again, but for the most part the studying devolves into talking which either leads Bakugou to leaving Eijirou's room—Bakugou still won't let anybody into his—or on the much rarer side, they end up with Eijirou’s laptop between them playing some sort of movie.
When Eijirou purposefully leads them off track today, he receives a glare and for a moment thinks that Bakugou is going to storm out of his room yelling about the hair dye ruining his brain. The glare doesn't lead to Bakugou leaving though. Instead Bwkugou throws the textbook they're working from down on the table and drops down to sit next to Eijirou.
And Eijirou is shocked and staring because the second option has never happened like this. He's so aware of the heat that radiates off of Bakugou and even though he's heavily being glared at, he feels a huge smile etch onto his face.
He feels an elbow to his side that does all the speaking needed and Eijirou grabs for his laptop.
"What're you feeling like watching tonight? I don't think we finished that All Might documentary that you like, so we could finish that or we could watch the next action war movie on our list." Eijirou feels the flinch at his side and doesn't say anything as he pulls up one of his favorite rom coms.
(They don't talk about the days when Bakugou doesn't want to watch any movies involving death. The one and only time that Eijirou played an action movie on a bad day, he ended up with an accidental blast to the face and Bakugou running out of his room. He's learned since to turn on something a lot softer on bad days.)
Eijirou hears a sigh and when he looks over, he's met with an exhausted looking Bakugou watching the screen with what he assumes is an attempt at hiding the tiny smile that's sitting on his face.
Eijirou finds himself watching his best friend more than the show, appreciating just how manly Bakugou is. His eyes go over every hard edge with the soft layer underneath.
There seems to be a funny part because Eijirou goes from watching Bakugou watch, to watching Bakugou snort and his head tips back and for how ugly of a laugh it is, all Eijrou can think of is "cute".
He can't tear his eyes away from the sight, he doesn't even know what was funny enough to get Bakugou to laugh as messily as he was. He just kind of watches with a fond look until Bakugou looks over at him and asks what the fuck he is looking at. "Gay." Is all that Eijirou can get out of his mouth and he realizes it too late and Bakugou looks like he's going to blast Eijirou's head off. He quickly tries to mend tthe metaphorical broken fence with a "I'm gay! I meant I'm gay. Like I like dudes and men and" he trails off, coughing awkwardly to look away from Bakugou.
"So fucking what?" And then there is a head on his shoulder. "Just sit still for one shitty movie."
