aughh i recognize that peoples financial status can be complicated even if their family is well off but its hard not to feel betrayed coming from a family of manual laborers without college degrees, growing up on the edge of poverty, etc…and find out your peers are “”poor”” in a very different way from that. i guess that type of life is just something I can’t relate to. ultimately being bitter does nothing but I can’t help but feel a little resentment.
