I remember one time in church, I was playing on my ds and me and my mom were waiting for the hall to clear out so we could get through more easily.

And this lady came over and said something along the lines of, "You know you shouldn't hold that so close to your face, it could damage your eyes."

I'm legally blind. Like, my eyes are so shitty, doctors have told me there's a chance I'll go fully blind at some point.

My mom said this, only the first part, and the lady just goes quiet and just, walks away.

I have no idea if she was being rude or just genuinely trying to help in her own way, I'm bad at reading situations, but it did give me a little chuckle.
