🐺 Daily Habits of a Wolf...

╰┈➤ ...in a human body.

gnawing on everything

(phantom) ears perking at every noise outside

joining my dogs at the window and growling when people walk by

howling when my dogs bark

head tilting at curious things

huffing/plopping my head on my hands when bored

sunbathing

yawning with my tongue out

body shakes/shivers (aka. that full body fur shiver canines do)

placing my hands at odd angles when driving cause I'm not suppose to have thumbs

scanning the landscape when outside

lowering head when watching something in the distance

play bowing when playing with my dogs

sneezing at my dogs to let them know I'm just playing

biting at my mate's (fiancé's) nose (aka. love bites)

pawing at my mate to get his attention

body bumping my mate when sitting or being near him

rubbing my head/neck against my mate and dogs to scent them

In other words, I do a lot in my daily life that others call weird.

I call it just being a wolf.

This is Void with a drawing request (read: suggestion) and its little Cerise's puppy-like behaviour (chasing chickens and chewing furniture, IIRC she also had a toy that looked like a bone).

the werewolfkin urge to walk like this around the woods at night

do you know how funny it would be if Hotch took on some wolf characteristics while in his human form? Like he hears a squeaky toy or sees a squirrel and he perks up or he loves when you scratch his head and sometimes he takes naps on the ground.

My personal headcanon is that werewolf!Hotch doesn’t play with toys (It’s werewolf!reader that does this)

But definitely the squirrel thing, he’d even start growling a bit until you put you hand on his shoulder to snap him out of it 😍🥺

And the head scratching!!! He’ll have his head in your lap as you’re cuddling and his leg might even twitch a little if you graze the right spot with your nails.

Also me, when someone mentions 'walkies': *Happy tippy taps, excited kicking and aggressive tail wagging* dammit..

when you’re casually roaming through the woods mid transformation and someone stumbles upon you

can we all be a little more polite about the werewolves that are a little awkward looking when we aren’t done transforming? like come on guys, transformation can be ugly sometimes, it’s natural!

and then they just had to shine that flashlight in my eyes, so rude 😤
