Toby blows her off when Andy's talking to him about how mandatory minimums are racist and says they just can't focus on that right now while she insists they should anyway. And then she gives him pie and he takes it and he thinks about it and he brings it to the President anyway and makes sure Jed knows that them being racist should be part of the conversation and I love that Jed already knows that this is something Andy has been trying to convince Toby of for a whole year?? (Which given the timeline of the divorce... she's been having this conversation with him since the divorce lmao) and now he's listening and it's immediately brought to the President and !! I love it

Okay so in the context of s7 e12 this one quick scene from last episode potentially works as foreshadowing? Jeanist is caught between running towards Edgeshot (who is shaking, as shown in a previous shot) or checking on Bakugou (just thrown across a battlefield and dead, although he doesn't know that yet); he tenses and decides that as a student and the apparently more injured one, Bakugou takes priority.

Now, in this episode, it's Edgeshot himself who prioritizes Bakugou's life over his own. And Hakamada, knowing that this will kill his friend, accepts the chance that Kamihara's sacrifice will save Bakugou. Once again, when caught between looking after Edgeshot or Bakugou, the latter is chosen.

the versatility of Cottonquick’s power dynamic makes me feral bc:

Oliver who wants to take. He wants everything that is Felix. His home, his wealth, Felix himself. So it would make sense that he would be greedy with Felix’s pleasure too. Why not? It was his after all.

On the other hand:

Oliver who is so desperate to have Felix attention on him that he will do whatever it takes. He wants all of Felix’s attention, every scrap, every morsel. He’d do anything. Felix is his god. It would be blasphemous to deny him.
