Wels breaking Hypno out of jail and going on the run with him.
Hypno convincing Wels to leave his job as a knight because they treat him terribly.
Maybe some sort of tournament AU where Wels is competing in this fancy medieval tournament that's famous for being really dangerous and having great prizes. And Hypno is his squire who's running around trying to keep him alive like 'I knew this was a terrible idea!' the whole time. (Bonus points if they aren't supposed to be competing but decided to do ✨identity fraud✨ for the chance of winning and being able to run away together).
