MY THOUGHTS R LIKE .... honestly I can’t decide if she’s written REALLY well or REALLY badly. I think what George is going for isn’t penis envy at all, but rather that she had to essentially become a man in order to survive the ordeal of being a woman, which ok, fine, good, but then there’s some internally inconsistent stuff like ... she herself has been raped, but wishes rape on other women (which ok obviously cersei is a huge misogynist but still I dont think thats very realistic); she feels like vaguely bad for bran’s fall but then turns around and LITERALLY MURDERS BABIES EN MASSE, which is WILDLY inconsistent w the bran thing. 

and then there’s the complicating factor which is that she has some kind of severe personality disorder that caused her to murder her bff when she was 10/makes her nearly incapable of love/ was obviously passed to joffrey. so like, was she born with this thing heinously wrong with her, or did she have the chance to be good at one point and lose it bc of the patriarchy, which destroyed her? I think georgde almost throws in too many factors cuz I can’t pinpoint which of those it is and im like AGHGHGHHH be CLEARER, I just want a clearer thesis out of her as a person. thus end my thoughts
