I have to give a shoutout of love today to my friend Queenie. She hasn’t been active on Tumblr lately, so I don’t even know if/when she will see this. She lives half a world away from me, but she knows me better than some of my own family does. She helped welcome me into this fandom, and it made me feel special to get attention from such a popular blogger. I don’t know what she saw in me that she thought was special but she gave me confidence in myself. And she helped me feel more at peace with my own sexuality, so it’s fitting to write this for her today.
If I ever were able to fly to the UK, I wouldn’t be able to leave without meeting her. It’s on my Bucket List the same way seeing Stonehenge or Buckingham Palace is. That’s how important she is to me. I would just love to go sightseeing with her, or even just share a cup of tea together. I would be happy with any time we had together. That’s the memory I’m looking forward to making some day.
