Happy birthday, Hitoshi Shinso 心しん操 !
The amount of juvenile anti Endeavor posts in this medium makes me want to throw up.
Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with how the Endeavor redemption arc is handled in the anime? I probably am, right?
I doubt you’re the only one… Maybe if I didn’t have the manga to compare it to, I’d like it better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thing is, I did have the manga to compare it to. I am both a manga reader and a viewer. I think they did well by not showing Dabi at the end of the episode and finishing right where the chapter (I think it was His Start or the next after that) actually ended. Why ruin it with Dabi’s intermission and Hawks’ reveal as a double agent? It would have shifted the focus completely elsewhere.
I’d just rather they had finished the arc fully. Ending it on a high note is fun and all, but I like proper endings.
Shifting the focus elsewhere can be good? Hawks’ double agent status is a big reveal. Ending it there and making people come up with theories over it before the next season comes out (or having then read the manga to know what happens) may shift the focus away from Endeadvor, but is that a bad thing? More people would have something to talk about. Endeavor’s redemption doesn’t leave us with room for so many theories.
In the end though, this is just my opinion, and you’re allowed to have your own.
People are allowed to have opinions. People are allowed to disagree with something a creator did. You can find the things I dislike nitpicking, and I can think they’re legitimate problems. That’s fine. People disagree, and I really don’t feel like getting into an argument over it, because at the end of the day, it’s literally just an opinion, and you’re allowed to think any way you like.
I am sorry if I came on you a bit aggressively. Truth is, I like where they ended it, and the Vestiges ending was definitely a worthy cliffhanger. Although, it would have been interesting to have the ending scene be that one, but they would have to show his appearance first after the battle, wouldn’t they?
Regarding the fight, wasn’t the animation really well made? I am glad they did justice to such an important fight after a season which suffered a lot from hastened drawing due to the movies that were produced. Plus, Hawks sounds really hot.
If anything, I am glad to have found another Endeavor fan.

Anime: Sailor Moon 🌙
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Yes, I, too, learned Scripture when I was young. But instead of answers, I found only questions. Why does God allow us to feel both pleasure and pain? Why has he given a young girl like Berthe impulses and desires she cannot begin to fathom or control? Is this the God of who we speak? This is a sanctuary for the young. I will not tolerate its trespass, neither by man, nor by God.

“Small Lady… Serenity… You did call me that once… But I’m not that little girl anymore. I am the Queen of Darkness, Black Lady. I was chosen by the ruler of darkness, Wiseman to be reborn as Queen of Nemesis, the planet of darkness.”
“I haven’t come to defeat you. I’m going to knock you into so many pieces there won’t be anything left afterward.”
goddamn it vegeta fans, you don’t ‘deserve’ anything.
you’ve liked a fictional character for over 20 years. That’s great!
that doesn’t mean Vegeta should totally be stronger than Goku or get more screentime or become the hero of an arc or anything like that because you’ve been wanting it for so long.
No one is owed fanservice.
and if you don’t agree that Vegeta should stay 1 step behind Goku most of the time…I’m not going to say ‘you’re wrong’, because that’s not necessarily true with what they’ve been doing in Super.
But you like a very different kind of story to me.
Νοt really.
I mean, after Goku and Gohan always being the saving graces, Vegeta should be once too. Not because we want it, because it’s the right thing to do to a character who has had such development and has actually surpassed Goku more than twice, at least in base power.
Don’t tell me that Vegeta didn’t deserve to be the one to kill Freeza in Resurrection of F, cause you’d be full of shit. For the things Vegeta has done and been through, he more than deserves a shot at being a hero. He should be one.
