i feel so bad for ringo when i write my fics because he is literally the fifth wheel to mclennon and dylarrison. maybe he deserves a fic entirely from his perspective
“Don’t fall for the rubbish that we do. This is for kicks,” mercurial Paul McCartney assured me, suiting action to words with one of his mock heroic poses. “We do it for the money. And because we enjoy it. And when we don’t enjoy it any more, we’ll pack it up.” John Lennon, the chief Beatle, said much the same thing — “We all go out to have fun. If the others have fun, that’s great. But if they don’t it’s all the same to us.” Perhaps that is their secret. Seriously though they take their song-making, they spend their whole time giving the appearance of having a whale of a schoolboy rag. Laughter and the spontaneous gag are never far away. Yet as they talk they look you square in the eyes, honest, unpretentious and no nonsense. They may look rather like Teddy Boys dressed up like Little Lord Fauntleroys. But it is his lordship, courteous and sincere, who surprisingly emerges backstage. I watched them turn a rehearsal into a riot, putting everything they had into their wild music and then, between numbers, clowning like any goon. Paul doing an Elvis Presley, striking a pose at the mike to make an irreverent speech as if addressing the House of Lords. George Harrison strumming some corny old songs. John Lennon intoning balefully into the mike — “We will now have The Cursing of Edward Heath.” (Mr Heath had just criticised the unrecognisable Queen’s English of the Beatles). Fun bubbles out of them high-spiritedly, and you can believe this is not just because they are at the top but because it has been their companion all along the way.
Colin Frame, he of russet haired John, pixie Paul and darkly handsome George fame, continues to fall in love with 3/4 of The Beatles in the Derby Daily Telegraph, 31 October 1963. Ringo continues to get paid dust :(
you do not belong here you are not ringo😭😭😭
the way i only recently found out ringo was there in this full picture. it's always cut out just to show paul and john. like i get it but poor ringo 😭😭
My beatles opinions are largely trash but at least I don't think Ringo is ugly
I’ve never watched the cartoon but
Somebody better call Ringo...
