☠—;; Ellie continued to pound at a nail; a rusted metal thing, securing a moldy piece of wood to a broken window. The girl's fingers were coated with a sticky layer of blood, small cuts forming from shards of shattered glass, and with the small lines of splinters. A cold winter breeze blew through the cabin: from the open door behind her, and the foundation of the house itself -- compromised when hell broke loose, and there was no longer any servicemen to repair them or requirements to meet.
The teenager used a finger to brush the greasy strands of hair from her face, and then dropping the tool, along with the small amount of nails that were in her hands, she did a quick 180 to face the open doorway -- which she had left closed when she came in.
Picking up the hammer from the ground, the adolescent held it in front of her. Though not her weapon of choice, Ellie could do whatever she had to with the blunt tool. "--Who the fuck are you?!" The girl growled, taking a few cautious steps in the direction of the other, who was concealed by the door-frame and the looming moon above them.
"I don't have any food, if that's what you want." The younger girl's voice was steady, though her cautious approach to the situation was evident in the way she carried herself. Emerald eyes glanced over to the other, trying to get some sort of idea about how armed he was, and if he was infected. However, their clothes covered anywhere that could have been bitten, but they seemed unarmed. Raising her eyebrow, Ellie allowed the hammer to drop a couple of centimeters, though still held in a defensive position.
