Justin Ponsor was just about the best collaborator I could have ever asked for. He was sharp, funny, humble, and incredibly talented. He had an amazing energy, and the enviable ability to get along with absolutely everyone! I was fortunate enough to be paired with him for over 18 years. I first met Justin at Crossgen, when he joined, to work with me on Scion. Right off the bat we hit it off, and it was magic. Everything he did was incredible, and inspired me to elevate my art to match. And he did it time and again, year after year. I knew I was in safe hands each time I turned over my lineart to him, as he always delivered the goods. To learn of his passing today literally took my breath away. I had been hoping we'd be able to reunite for one more upcoming special project, but sadly it is not to be. I don't know if I'll ever find another collaborator as generous and simpatico as Justin was. I feel truly spoiled to have been able to work with him all these years, and heartbroken that there can be no more. So thank you, dude, for making me look better than I ever deserved to be. You'll be dearly missed, my friend! Rest In Peace, J-Po! #RIP #JustinPonsor #JPo #colorartist #MarvelComics #FCancer #FuckCancer https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxtqq1slSqQ/?igshid=1galw7k8jrll6
