Nicknames : JiJi (everyone), JD (school mates), Princess (her grandfather only)
While JiJi is her mother's twin, that's where the similarities stop.
Unlike Kaliah, who had to try different things to be able to make money before she chose to go into law enforcement, Jihanna naturally has a wide range of interests and isn't afraid to try them all. Succeed or 'fail', it's all fun for her.
As she grows, I imagine she'll dip in and out of many activities (even while knowing what she wants to do in the future) and that's perfectly fine.
Having been a dancer from ages 4 to 11, it was a given that she would jump into junior cheerleading as her after school activity. Just something to pass time and somewhere to be when her mom is working late.
Her major aspiration is, and will always be, to become a bestselling author. Jihanna has been writing short stories for as long as she could remember and always looks forward to when her English teachers assign long writing projects. Since turning 12, she's been slowly working on a teen/ya fantasy series and has been writing book #1 for over a year now.
Just prior to her very first trip to Selvadorada she took up an interest in archaeology. She doesn't see herself doing any digging or excavating often, but when an opportunity presents itself she will happily take it.
Learning that her grandfather plays three different instruments, Jihanna decided she wanted to try one. Why she chose the harp is beyond Preston, but he gets his granddaughter whatever she wants without asking any questions. She finds it challenging, and that excites her.
Most certainly a selfie queen, but she also loves taking picture of the world around her. Though she'd take pictures galore of nature and the things she sees on future trips (because she will travel more), I don't think she'd share them with anyone. Just a fun little side hobby.
With the appropriate amount of freedom for her age, I foresee her having a very fun social life with a variety of friends, though we will only see her main circle.
Because of Kaliah's determination to raise Jihanna the complete opposite of how she had been raised by Cleo; Jihanna has very high self-esteem, very high confidence, she knows exactly who she is and is not easily pressured or swayed.
She's very kindhearted, humble, generous, and thoughtful.
Unlike her mother, Jihanna is very trusting of everyone. (Though, cross her bad enough and you're out at the first strike)
She's very opinionated and outspoken, and while she will remain respectful, she will never have a problem with saying what's on her mind. Most often she can't let it go until she says it.
It was inevitable once Preston came into the picture, but Jihanna is VERY spoiled (A.J. doesn't make it any better🥴) but she's not as big of a 'brat' as she could be.
It's been fun to watch her since she aged up, and I can't wait to see what happens with in her world (in the background of the main series).
