Hard to explain. He was just... a really really good man. Life went really shitty for him after a point, that's how he ended up on Omega, but he didn't let anything change who he was. You know, if my dad had had his say, he'd have never taken me in. It was my Granddad who made him face up to his responsibilities like a man. Still my dad didn't do much parenting.

He taught me pretty much everything I know. Didn't go to school so he taught me at home. Reading, writing, math, history... taught me those. He also taught me about honour, and he taught me right from wrong. How to fight, too. 

He was stern, but not mean. Knew how to discipline me without making me resent him for it. He had a way of making me understand when he punished me. Even if I hated it I knew he was doing it 'cause he really did think it was best for me.

He was just... a good man. And the galaxy is lesser now that he's not in it. He's everything I wanna be someday. I'm not even close yet.

((Home taught, by her grandfather. I can't really imagine there being schools on Omega, and if there are, they are probably shit. So she has never attended school, but has received an education)
