I miss Jon and Sansa. The White Wolf and the Red Wolf. The King and Queen in the North. The Lord and Lady of Winterfell. The King Crow and the Little Dove. The Dolt Brother and the Murdering Whore. The Last Dragon and the Lone Wolf. The Targaryen alone in the world and the Stark alone in Winterfell. Ned Stark's Bastard and Ned Stark's Daughter. The Stone and Snow that was all that was left of Winterfell. The man who knew nothing and the slow learner who learnt.
big mood.
ill never get over them. ill never get over what could have been, what was so obviously set up and then pushed aside. there was so much potential for the story of jonsa- from the moment they found each other again in season 6, their stories became intertwined and became something special. jon’s vow to protect her restored her faith in men and life. sansa’s mere existence gave jon’s resurrection true meaning. he was brought back to life HOURS, DAYS, before sansa came to him at castle black. what the FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO KNOWING THAT? IGNORE IT? not happening.
sansa gave jon purpose again- gave him something he wanted to protect at all costs. jon gave sansa protection and love. they needed each other so much. together they learned to navigate their worlds that had been built on abuse & betrayal. in each other, they had found a reason to live again.
ill never get over them. NOT EVER.
Pssst. What if Renly's 🍑 = Adam and Eve's Forbidden Fruit? And Stannis denies it. So basically it means he's the purest form of human being unstained by the temptation of Renly's juicy 🍑
Well didn’t GRRM say it was meant to represent the “pleasures of life”, which Renly indulged in, while Stannis refused them? So I think you’re not too far off lol
Jon Snow and Margaery Tyrell. The Blue Winter Rose of Winterfell and The Golden Rose of Highgarden.
yes i can definitely get behind that, the SNARK and SASS on these two would be sublime!!!
For anon's Jon x Margaery ask. Jon is King in the North and Margaery was not there during the Sept explosion. Sam finds out about R+L=J and tells his mother about Jon's birthright. Sam's mother tells Olenna about it.
Added to our prompt page!
Jon Connington x Howland Reed. One won't shut up about Rhaegar, the other won't shut up about Ned.
JGFKHUF on that description alone, I'm into it
Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it
Jon Snow really is Ned Stark's son. They both gave up their honor to protect someone they love. Ned lied at the Sept of Baelor, and Jon did regicide and kinslaying becoming the Man with Shit for Honor 2.0. Both did those TO PROTECT SANSA.
Honestly though!!!
The two characters on the show who took the most pride in their honor and were respected as two of the most (if not THE most) honorable men... Forfeited it for Sansa. A father's duty is to protect his children no matter what... Ned did just that and he lost his life for it. A man's duty to the woman he loves is to protect her at all costs... Jon did just that, regardless of what it would do to his own life or how people saw him.
@justreddz ha risposto al tuo post “RIP Luwin and RIP Smiler ”
Maester Luwin and Maester Cressen's death are interesting parallels and contrasts. Luwin loved his Stark boys like his own sons, and Cressen loved his Baratheon boys like his own sons. Maester Luwin died satisfied knowing that he saved Bran and Rickon from the Ironborn, Maester Cressen died knowing that he couldn't save Stannis from Melissandre.
First of all, this brought back my trauma for Cressen’s death OMG it completely took me off guard because I didn’t remember it from the show, so I quickly grew to love this poor old man who just wanted to protect Stannis and for him to mend his relationship with Renly and who was genuinely so loyal to their family despite having been cast aside by Stannis...
Second of all, now that you pointed this out I suddenly realized that not only are their characters and deaths parallel/ in contrast, but Cressen’s death opens the book, while Luwin’s closes it... I’m... speechless...
