25 Weeks to go!

The countdown begins... so far, we’ve booked our flight from Philadelphia to Edinburgh, and got a heck of a deal!  Next step is to book our Southwest flights from Sacramento to Philly... just waiting for the schedule to open up (only thru June 6 now) and waiting for that good Tuesday sale to kick in... We’ve got our hotel in Philly (used Wyndham points!) and booked a really cool place in Edinburgh for our final two days in Scotland - check it out!  Cindy sent me a website of unique places to stay in the UK and this one was on it! Lots of logistics... been researching Inverness and Oban, next is Stirling, trying to get the first 1/2 of our “road trip” figured out... been looking into rental cars and train schedules, too.  Also need to lock in our first two days in Edinburgh... We haven’t spent ANY time looking at England or Wales yet... except we found out that the Downton Abbey mansion will be CLOSED while we are there... no sweet!  :( Oh, and I’ve been doing some independent scotch research... ha!
