Hello....Do you mind if I ask your top 5 (or top 10) favorite moments from any media that you love (can be books, anime/manga, tv series, movies, games, etc)? Thanks if you want to answer. Sorry if I ask too much....
This is a fun question, so I'll try my best!
In no particular order:
To no one's surprise most likely, the Touya reveal in ch 290 of BNHA, specifically this panel:
I'm just--look I love my characters who everyone think is dead but come back for revenge, and also, that line is just so raw. (Let's ignore the rest of canon)
2. Dresden Files Dead Beat by Jim Butcher, specifically that moment where Harry Dresden raises up a dinosaur from the dead and rides it into battle.
As many problems as I have with the series later on, god I love this moment.
3. Westworld S1E1 the last second of the episode, specifically when Dolores slaps the fly
I can't find a gifset of that exact moment, but I think this is right before that happens. I just love it because it made me scream and want to watch the rest of the show RIGHT THEN. I also love her beating up the Man in Black, but this is the moment that made me desperately want to watch the rest of the show.
4. Arcane s1e9, Jinx's speech at the end: "I thought maybe you could love me like you used to. Even though I’m… different. But you changed too. So… Here’s to the new us."
It's just such a devastating culmination of the entire season, with her sitting down in the Jinx chair and declaring it all over. (We're not going to talk about season 2). Also a contender is of course Silco's line of "Is there anything so undoing as a daughter," but that was a much quieter scene of course.
5. Fantasy High, first season, first episode, where Fabian punches Gorgug in the face, and Gorgug tries to sing his happy song but then decides to rage. The comedic timing on that was golden, and that was what convinced me to get into the rest of Dimension 20.
6. The moment in the Golden Enclaves by Naomi Novik where everyone sings an enclave into existence, it's just so hopeful and makes me tear up.
7. Night Watch by Terry Pratchett, where you realize where the lilac flowers came from, and you feel the same as Vimes when you realize it's all over now and history will have to repeat.
8. Tomoda-kun from Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun:
Just the best comedic moment I've seen from any anime, top tier :DDDD
9. Episode 10 of Madoka Magica, where the opening song flips to the end and you realize all along that this seemingly peppy song has actually been Homura's vow to Madoka, and it's SO SAD:
Sadly I can't find the exact video, but this was so sad.
10. Mass Effect 3 when you cure the genophage:
Mordin just gave up his life, so that's devastating, but at the same time, he just cured the plague that he created and completely prevented the krogan from reproducing, so the krogan now have a future again, and and and, it's just a culmination of so many hours of the game. Sigh, Bioware just doesn't make it like this anymore.

Thanks for the ask! I guess I'm going to feature my fix-it Fear Street Alice/Cindy fic here.
If you watched the Netflix Fear Street trilogy, you know these two are doomed just going in since they're part of the flashbacks instead of the present timeline, but there's just something SO GOOD about former friends turned enemies having to team up again against the supernatural. And also, both actresses/actors said that they played their characters as being in love with each other despite all their differences, so it adds up to an electrifying tension on-screen.
If you haven't seen the Fear Street trilogy yet, highly recommend it (Netflix, boxset DVDs when).
So of course, I wanted to give these two the happy ending they deserved, which of course means, the Shadyside curse has to be broken much sooner than in canon. And yes, I know it's a bit of a stretch to have one of the perpetrators of the curse just bleed out, but THATS WHAT FIX-IT IS FOR.
I had a lot of fun exploring how they would have recovered after the entire camp massacre and dealing with the reveal of who the curse perpetrator was. And of course, I wanted to give poor Tommy closure! Really, at some point, I'd love to explore all the Shadyside killers more because they seem to be mostly a group of innocent people who got cursed into becoming serial killers, even in their afterlives.
I'm pretty proud it stands up to a reread, since I wrote this mainly for myself to begin with, and I think the smut scenes aren't bad either!

Something Borrowed by rageprufrock - the best IwaOi fic, I love it so much, the characterizations are just stellar here (is it ABO, yes, but shush, I love it)
家教 - or - Domestic Education by rageprufrock - the best Guardian fic I've ever read, and I love the Shanghai-ness of it all!
as to which may be the true by susiecarter - identity porn at its best (I was going to pick tell all the truth (but tell it slant) by susiecarter originally, because fake dating, but I've reread this one more, so I think it has to count as my favorite SuperBat fic)
Excessively Clever by astolat and Champion by astolat - I know nothing about Transformers, but astolat's fic made me absolutely adore these robots
The vates series by Lightning on the Wave (starts here ) - just because it takes the HP series world and completely blows it up and adds so much cool lore of its own. Yes, yes, all the characters are basically OC's at this point, and the Drarry gets a bit too much come Year 4, but my god, that lore.
a simple thing by iridan - lovely Mandalorian fic that gives both Din and Boba peace (and ignores the later seasons, thank god)
ships that pass in the night by beethechange - okay, okay, I know it's RPF, and let me caveat by saying, I think the real Ryan and Shane are just good friends, but I really enjoyed the hilariousness of this fic and the innate wistfulness and yearning to it as well.
it's about time that you just unwind by fuckener - idk, I just love two middle-aged snarky guys figuring out their sexualities and working out their trauma together, despite the fact that I have watched It entirely through gifsets

Play It Again by metisket - all I have ever wanted is for all the Hales to be alive, so I deeply enjoyed this Sterek AU
Fealty by astolat - Person of Interest was pretty formative for me, and I love nothing more than devotion
Out of This Place by Sineala - sort of fake dating, and I do love Eagle of the Ninth so much, despite it being kind of a terrible movie
Dooku Captured, Pt 2 by DarthNickels - the Stars Wars AU we all deserved
#bakudeku by rageprufrock - it's not a BakuDeku story, its a TodoDeku story, and I love it because it's hilarious
An Unexpected Gift by Miko - an oldie but a goodie, I am still so fond of the Silver Pair from Prince of Tennis
And as for my username juurensha, this all stems from juu's weeb phase (that she never grew out of exactly, so it's actually quite fitting!) Tiny 13/14 year old juu was quite into Bleach and Naruto and was of course coming up with OC's, and specifically for Naruto, wanted to come up with a girl from a weapon's family. Googling random Japanese terms online yielded
銃連射/じゅうれんしゃ
meaning rapid weapons fire/or hail of bullets.

So, that was my Naruto and Bleach OC's last name. Yes, and then I proceeded to use this super cringe name as my Ao3 username because I assumed that no one else would have used it yet, and here I am!

Oh boy, oh boy, well, in no real order, let's start:
darling, thank god it’s this universe we’re in (and you can annoy me as much as you please) I know, I know, so typical. It's your most popular piece, and that's why you like it so much, right??? No, it's a happy coincidence that it's my most popular fic, but really, it had all the childhood friends AU shenanigans that my heart desired, gave DabiHawks a happy ending (along with pretty much everyone else), AND I got to add OC's willy-nilly everywhere with their own little side stories, so that's why it's my favorite :DDDD
frost cannot touch plum blossoms in the snow yes, yes, another DabiHawks piece, I'm sorry, but fully 1/3 of my fics are DabiHawks pieces now it seems. This was my fantasy AU, and it was sooooo self indulgent, with me combining in all my favorite Critical Role and different MXTX/Chinese webnovel universe references. Still I liked the fusion, and I think it turned out pretty well?
be all my sins remembered and more one of my more personal pieces that came truly from the heart, and I'm happy that GOTG3 didn't really joss much of what I wrote here. Mantis holds a special place in my heart, and for all its faults, I do love the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy
Dead Devotion ah my one and only 2nd person POV fic, and the most purple-prosey of all, because it is of course a Hannibal fic. I really did enjoy writing the purple prose, and I'm still pretty proud of it, even now.
Knock me off my pedestal (and entangle with me on the ground) my QuanYin fic that I wrote because I love QuanYin, but there were certain characterizations and actions that I just HAD to write for myself. I wanted them to have a happy ending so badly, and here I got to give it to them! I also love Yin Yu so much and want ppl to appreciate him more.
