Chanyeol has never for one second pretended like he doesn’t play favorites. Back then the object of his affections had been a prostitute -they called them harlots then- with curves in all the right places and more malice running through her veins than he had thought possible. He remembered the man claiming murdering her was God’s will as he plunged the knife between her ribs. Chanyeol was livid, to say the least. Above all else, he hated having things taken away from him. The joke was on him in the end, though; a harlot is a harlot and a murder is a murder, they all get sent the same place in the end regardless of motive. Imagine his face when he found himself in hell facing a familiar demon with an even more familiar knife and woman smiling by his side.

The two really wanted a puppy for themselves, but knowing that the rules in their current apartment building wouldn’t let them, adopting a dog was out of the picture. Their last resort was to volunteer often at a shelter. Snowball, who was a maltese mixed with Shih Tzu, had been their ‘child.’ The first day they volunteered, was also the day Snowball came into the shelter. He was found shivering under a piece of cardboard and a teen walking home took him in. Ever since then, they kept tabs on him and gave him special treatment. After a year and 6 months, he was now graduating from training school which overwhelmed the two of them. The two stand in the crowd as the other dogs start to walk in, both of them scanning for Snowball. Hyesun grabs onto Krystal’s arm faking a light sob, “They grow up so fast...” Hyesun lets out a laugh watching the other dogs get their ‘diplomas.’ Once their favorite dog is next, they let out scream, getting their phones ready like moms. Ahh, so is this what its like to be a parent?

“Are you worried for me?” Amber grinned, nudging the other lightly to tease her. “Don’t worry, I ate a few hours ago. I’ll be fine.” She chuckled, finding it cute for the girl to worry for her even if it was in a subtle way. “What about you, hm? When is the last time you ate?”
