I plan on making a Reading Post soon. I just got hit with I got a cold then mother Nature decided to fuck with me while I was sick then New York got hit with a fucking miniature heat Wave It's been hotter than Hades ass crack and then finally yesterday I got over my cold and shit and was doing well and then I couldn't sleep because the fucking knock or however you spell it won . And since it was the first time in like 53 years everyone was celebrating and when I say celebrating I mean there were people driving up and down my street blasting music, fireworks were literally being sent off like it was the fourth of fucking July and several of the apartment units in my building were blasting music and dancing and partying including the people directly above me and directly below me so I'm like running off of like an hour sleep.
That being said I'm going to rant a little bit here. I have seen way too many posts on like YouTube Twitter occasionally when I check in with my family members that still have a TT account of so-called Lngshot fans losing their shit over other fans of the group who don't sit there and ass lick Jay Park and I'm afraid that if this keeps up one way too many people are going to be turned off from even wanting to join the fandom or give a fuck about the group anymore and two Jay Park is turning into Bang pd 2.0
Walk with me now. I understand that LS has quite a few jaywalkers as fans but apparently there's way more of them than they probably should be within the shorty fandom or how the fuck you're supposed to spell their fandom name. And the reason why is because if you are not basically ass looking Jay Park and you call him out for weird shit he does as a CEO because he does he moves like an artist and not like someone who's in charge of a fucking company that's going to have multiple artists if he's not going to give the same amount of like obsessive behavior with his other groups that he debuts then this is weird and I can guarantee you when he debuts that girl group whatever the fuck their names going to be he's not going to be like this with them because he's not stupid he knows how weird that would look if he was this close with the girl group. But because it's a group of guys and he's a man no one's fucking questioning it but it's just as creepy.
The issue though is when people point out the things he does and how it looks bad from a CEO and business point of view. Way too many so-called LS fans and of course jaywalkers are jumping on them and telling them how dare you say this you just hate Jay you don't understand what he's done for the boys in the community and like my whole thing is this. Lngshot is a group of guys between the ages of 16 to 20. Their fans would primarily be people around their age range of course they're going to have older and younger fans but most of their fans are probably people who didn't even get into Kpop until 3rd generation Jay Park is a fucking second gen Idol who got kicked out of his group disappeared for several years before making a comeback as a solo artist only really had like two songs that would be considered K-pop adjacent and where he actually promoted them on music shows and then basically dug a hole for himself in the hip hop community in Korea so unless you were in the k hip hop or R&b hemisphere you have no clue who the fuck Jay Park is.
He didn't make a entrance back into like the main K-pop hemisphere until like 2022/23 because that's when he decided to do his first collaboration with Ningning and then you had him doing dance challenges with K-pop idols because everyone was making fun of his ass these were new K-pop fans. Who sat there and saw this old man who is very stiff when it comes to doing the type of choreography that new K-pop idols do and we're making fun of how stiff he looked while trying to dance alongside groups like fucking Aespa,Got7,En- ect.
Then he disappeared for a little bit and tried to double down again because again when he first did that those groups still had fans who would have been in their late teens early twenties like myself when Jay Park first was like popping and then he started getting into controversies. And I think it's really interesting when you look at the controversies but we'll talk about that a little later. But then he ended up doing a collaboration with Natty from Kiss of Life when kiss the life was doing super fucking well before they sat there and did that racist ass birthday live stream. And again he was reintroduced to younger people because he has an aging fandom and he doesn't like that idea most of his fans on average would be between late 20s and late 30s like around his own age and slightly younger. I don't think he likes that in his hay day he had college age girls and barely legal adult teenagers going to his concert screaming for him and throwing their bras and panties on the stage that shit isn't happening anymore he's no longer in that heyday. And I think he wants to recreate that again especially because I think part of him first of all he's always been a bit of a narcissist that's nothing new but I also think him seeing groups with older members in it so him sitting there watching groups like a fucking BTS or SVT Etc where they have 30-year-old members probably pisses him the fuck off because it feels like as he started aging people kind of sound fucking with him but in actuality it's because of all the dumb shit he's been doing.
He had that vine post that he made that was very pedophilic in nature but it was also a trend and he did actually apologize for it that is like the last time he actually apologized for shit. He had a song where he literally told people to worship him like a God and worship him like he's Allah that pissed off a lot of the Muslim and Christian people or people affiliated with those religions who listen to him and were pissed off like why are you shitting on a religion he never really apologized for that he probably said that people were taking what he said out of context and that it was just like. Metaphor and it's like it doesn't make a difference you could have used something completely different especially dealing with what the song was about. Then there was the AOMG CREW songs where he did an entire music video where he had some of the members dressed up with fucking full dreads braids they were throwing up fake fucking gang signs they have been danna's on all while claiming that this was supposed to be a more Korean Anthem and it's like you were cosplaying American gang culture and black people. What made it worse was when he crashed out on Twitter and IG and literally admitted that his crew behind the scenes like his people who work for him both Korean and non Koreans told him don't do this video this looks culturally insensitive and he didn't listen and then basically admitted that even cha cha his half Filipino half black producer and friend at the time also might have said something to him about it coming off a big cultural insensitive and appropriation feeling and he still ignored that shit. And said that it's his Artistry and his real fans would understand and get it and people can't keep trying to box him in and tell him what he can and can't do but he genuinely had an ego crash out and I think that's when a lot of fans just kind of stop fucking with him. I know that's when me and my friends who were in our early 20s going into our mid twenties at the time really stop fucking with him because that shit was crazy like you are grown ass man at this point you're good like 10 11 years older than us meaning that at that point you were already well into adulthood you are 30 something year old man and you're crashing out because people were trying to hold you accountable.
And the part that people don't talk about with that whole crash out is it fucked over his artist. There were multiple artists who were featured in that who was a part of it who just listened to what the fuck their CEO and producer told them to do and it stunted their careers not even just with like general K-pop fans who were kind of into them but even in the KHH scene and the KR&B scene.
And then of course he ended up jumping ship with aomg and moving on to what is now more vision. And it feels like that's where people keep not understanding it right that's where the some of these shorties and jaywalkers don't seem to get it if Jay gets into controversy because of how heavily entwined he is with LS the whole group is fucking screwed.
It will not matter if they improve how good they'll do with their music they will be stained by this man. I feel like examples of this that you could look at with bang PD which is what it feels like he's becoming in terms of having a cult like following a fans rather than people genuinely being able to criticize him. Is Illit they're being used by their CEO to make him and the founder of the company look better than they are. But more than that they've had several songs that aren't bad and aren't NJ rip offs.
Jellyous that was actually written by Sophia powers, cherish, and there's like a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head but those were genuinely good songs and it felt like they were actually not going for the njz route. They worked for the group they actually suited their vocal range their vibes they could have went on with those songs and they could have pitted their music and it probably would have worked out better for them but it didn't matter. Because now bang PD and their CEO at be shit had completely fucking ruined their image for a lot of fans and when I say this I mean even some of their hardcore Asian fans have called it quits with them. Because that's how bad the stain that those two grown ass men who decided to use those girls and throw them under the bus has caused and it's like really wild when you think about it because your entire career could be hindered or basically stunted and disappeared because of the dumb shit that the people affiliated with you do. You have to understand if those girls weren't going on till like fucking interviews and shit talking about how close they were to bang PD if they didn't have his number saved in his phone if they didn't talk about having dinners with him once or twice if they didn't talk about being able to text or call him and he'll easily hit them back I don't think they would have been hit as hard as they have been.
And I say this because we've seen this with other companies where the CEO does some fuck ass shit but it doesn't affect the groups that they're not heavily intertwined with. YG for example no one sat there and was affiliating the shit he was doing during his whole trying to bribe his mistress and threaten to get rid of her if she said anything case against two of his artists. They weren't tying that back to ikon even though it was their leader who was going through this legal procedure at that time because YG was never close with that group. You didn't see him consistently like showing up to their concerts he wasn't consistently taking a bunch of videos and pictures with them none of that shit. Now compare that to some of the hate that like BP or BM get and you'll notice that one of the biggest difference is that YG never shut it up about those two girl groups. He consistently shows up in like they're behind the scenes videos when he can he loves taking pictures and videos of them he will never shut the fuck up talking about them. He has so heavily intertwined himself with them that people who don't like him cannot find themselves getting into the groups and again that's not necessarily the best thing ever but it makes sense because of how parasocial K-pop in general is.
Once you have idols affiliated with each other they're going to be affiliated with for the good and the bad. NCT with the issue that happened with their ex member Taeil even though none of the members had anything to do with the atrocities that he committed. None of them even knew that this was happening they genuinely thought man was like injured and got hurt or whatever had no clue that it was because of a offset boyfriend /family member who purposely fucking ran him over because he SA'd there girlfriend / female family member. Yet people were still making ties to that because he'd been part of the group for so long he did have certain friendships and relationships that seemed really close with specific members so they were always being intertwined with each other for like the first fucking two years of everything that was happening even though it's like they had no clue they were no part of this. Like even when you look at what was said and done during like the court case that did happen he basically admitted to the fact that like none of his members or anyone at the company knew because he liked to keep his private life very separate from his Idol life. Basically homeboy was pulling a Sungri well however you spell that criminals name where it's like yeah I'm close to these people for business reasons we are coworkers not friends but I am friends with shady ass motherfuckers and we do very illegal stupid shit.
And the crazy thing is it's already happening with Jay park. I've already seen people who genuinely like moonwalk who started getting into them with their recent mixtape and they're like okay these boys are talented I like them all right and then Jay's out here having another mental coked breakdown on fucking Twitter and IG and it has people sitting there and going I don't think I'm going to get into this group. Like some people are genuinely like that it's giving them deja Vu they don't want to have another bang PD situation where it's a fucking producer and CEO getting really close with the group so they can use the group every time they come under fire. Cuz that's what it's getting and it's crazy because when you look at it he's never done this with any of his other artists right even when he was friends with them. Chungha signed to his label he did an entire little roll out on YouTube where they did an interview he promised her solo concerts solo world tours she's been in the industry for 10 years now she's been signed to his company for several of those years she hasn't had one solo concert yet. Matter of fact I don't even think she came out with the second part of her rare and bare album I own part one of that album and I was waiting for part two to come out and then we never got it. And then watching her do promotions with her ex-produce group and talking about how she missed that and all the things she wants to like achieve and do and talking about her and upcoming album and come back mind you there's no talk about this comeback until after the produce come back happened and I think it's because more vision and him realize that they need to bank on the how popular she still is so they can still make more money. But also her fans started talking about why the hell she hasn't had to come back in a while and yes I get it she went back to school and I think she got like a degree in something. But you also have to understand that doesn't stop her or the company from still coming out with shit .
And I'm not even talking about like albums and stuff. She still had other things that she was doing while she was in college in terms of advertisements and shit like that and like the company wasn't promoting any of it. Not to mention twice has several members that graduated from college while being very active in the group and still going on tours and shit it's not like you can't do that multiple K-pop groups do that Xlov I'm pretty sure one of the members recently talked about the fact that they're taking classes while still being an idol. Like it's not like your education has to stop or like you can't do some in person and some online classes we're talking about fucking college here. If some K-pop idols were able to fucking graduate high school two three years late I don't think it's going to hurt someone to graduate from college a few years later than they probably would have initially.
But you also have to just look at the facts Jay Park doesn't have young fans young fans are the ones that you kind of want to have because they do the most free labor for you like the younger fans are the ones who are making all of the edits they're making all of the post they're the ones who are creating the fucking like fanfictions and shit which is getting other people who might not know who the hell you are interested in you and wanting to know who you are listening to your music and all of this. Older fans aren't doing that shit you will not be catching most people in their fucking thirties and forties doing that shit that's a young people shit. They don't have time to be running full fan accounts like someone in their teens or early college years. On top of that around the time of him debuting this new boy group he also started posting up more consistently and getting more views on his YouTube channel, with his like logs and challenges and all that other shit that he does on there. He's genuinely gained more fans and followings on all of his social platforms because now people are affiliating him with ls and they're like oh this is the guy who created this group that I really like and he also comes out with music himself I'm going to sit here and check him out see what he's about and a lot of them do like his shit it's not like he has bad songs even though I stop listening to him after like the 2010s so make nasty the one he did with the K-pop girls songs and I don't think I'm going to personally. I like where I left off with him music wise I think I'm going to fucking stay there.
But newer people discovering him are going to sit there and listen to all of his shit and see what it's about what it is. You're seeing edits being made with him more now than you have previously because again he didn't really have the type of fan base and fandom where they were willing to sit there and put in all the time and effort to make really cool fucking edits for a bunch of people to watch and look at. Like he's genuinely gaining more from this than his new group is and that's not even talking about the tour.
Lngshot is it really getting exposure from going on this tour with him. First of all you have jaywalkers or Jay Park fans already shitting on the boys they're complaining about them being there some of them are upset about the fact that this means their fans are going to be buying out tickets when they want to sit there and see Jay and they've waited so long because this man hasn't had a world tour in like forever and he hasn't really toured in forever. And the thing is I think he knows that too. He's going to be exposing himself to younger fans more than to his own fandom because he knows damn well Lngshot has a big enough fandom and fan base already for only being like a 6-month-old group that their fans will be trying to get tickets to see the boys meaning that they'll also be seeing Jay which will then make Jay look good cuz technically it is his tour he's the headliner they're just featured on the tour. Outside of maybe giving them experience on what it's like to do concerts and tours this isn't helping them out not to mention this is going to be cutting into the peak of comeback season for new artist and when they're going to start being able to actually garnish nominations for end of the year awards. There's a high possibility that they're not going to have a comeback within the time that they need to actually be able to apply for certain awards at the end of the year. He's basically depriving them of the possibility of having those like award sweeps for being a new artist that people are genuinely into and they're interested in for them performing at award shows for being exposed to a completely new crowd of fans and people who could get into them who might not be on the same side of the internet that they're currently on.
Not to mention if you wanted to give them this experience he literally could just have them come on for like maybe one or two shows. He could have just had them be part of like two or three shows in the states and then two or three shows in Asia they didn't have to go on the entire tour with him.
Then there's the whole fact that he seems to be with them at every fucking interview and show that they go on. And I hate this because people will sit there and say well Jay's using his connections so he has to be there with him wrong Jaejoon uses his connection for his girl group from his company and you don't see him going with them onto their interviews and shows. You never saw Jay doing this with Chungha when she was doing interviews and shows with her first like two comebacks with this company. And mind you this wasn't all on her own some of these shows and stuff she went on was because of Jay she even thanked him for reaching out to the show or the people hosting was like yeah Jay reached out to us to have you on but you didn't see him with her during her interviews you didn't see him popping in on the freaking camera to sit down next to her and talk about like how cool and great she is and what an amazing friendship they have.
And again that's not getting into the creepiness of the shit that he's done. Because I don't care how hot you think he is first off I think it's weird that if you look at most of his fans defending him a lot of them literally call him a baby. They're like oh of course they're mad at our baby he could never do this he's just being so kind people are taking his kindness and twisting it that is a grown ass man Karen he's going to be 40 this year. Please stop babying the 40-year-old man he's almost 50 he's close to being the same age as some of the other K-pop founders and CEOs matter of fact he's around the same age that jyp was when he was signed to jype and he used to talk about how corny jyp was for trying to be friends with his idols who are so young I'm trying to basically garnish popularity off of them just for him to turn around and do the same shit.
Second off I have younger brothers even younger than some of the members my littlest brother is younger than Louie but I also have a brother who's the same age as Louie and one who's the same age as Woojin I have a set of twins that are a year older than the two oldest members so they're 21 as of this year. I would be so fucking uncomfortable if my little brothers were signed to a company I don't give a shit it was an entertainment company or something else and they're grown ass CEO like to show up to their dorm unannounced. Sometimes while being fucking pissed drunk and would wake them the hell up so he can sit there and like drunk ramble to them and they had to listen to him because he's still their boss and they're still young and they're afraid of having some kind of punishment. If I sat there and watch freaking interviews where this man was all over my brothers and talking about how they're such good friends and shit but also watching my little brother is literally sit there and speak in another language my brother's happened to be able to speak fucking Creole cuz these are my little brothers on my mom and stepdad side who are half Korean if they sat there and said in fucking Creole that they wish that their CEO would make friends his own age and leave them alone and stop showing up to their dorm during an interview I'd be fucking pissed like why are you so obsessed with being around them is kind of creepy sir you're a grown ass man. Go find a fucking girlfriend maybe that'll help you be her problem.
If I had to sit here and watch my little brother's work so hard to get to the point of debuting just for their fuck ass CEO to consistently put their careers on the line because of the dumb shit he does. Like let's talk about the whole middle finger picture why is it that there's been four different occasions now in the members have talked about that and they all talked about how they didn't know the picture was going up. Jay did not tell them that he was going to post that on to social medias they were pleading at the general public and their fans to understand that they're not delinquent they're good boys that's not who they were they were asked to pose and they did they talked about how they told you they didn't like it they didn't want him to post it up and he said I don't give a fuck I'm the boss.
But then you have dumb bitches trying to sit here and say if the boys were uncomfortable they'll say something. They literally told him they didn't want him posting the picture of them their middle fingers on to the internet and he did it anyway he didn't give a fuck that the 15 17 and 19 year olds were uncomfortable with him doing that because he was their boss.
They literally talked about how they're basically on edge all the time with him. They didn't say it like that but they said oh we don't know which version of Jay we're going to get are we going to get producer Jay Park are we going to get CEO Jay Park or are we going to get best friend Jay Park we don't know so was really hard to tell sometimes and I'm like that's not a healthy work environment for anyone let alone a bunch of really young dudes. Oh and that's not even get into the fact that when they were trainees Jay like to hit them as punishment I don't care what kind of punishment it is I'm pretty sure corporal punishment is something you're not supposed to do in general anymore and then sometimes he would just randomly Ryul because he looked like a bad kid in a troublemaker AKA I think it's because homeboy really does kind of look like Jay and Jay knows damn well that he was a bad kid and troublemaker.
And I also feel like people just kind of forget that at the end of the day he is their boss and not just their boss he's the big boss. He's the founder and CEO of the company you can't say no to him because who knows what punishment you might have or how might end up affecting your group so no shit they're just going to do whatever he says they're not going to make it seem like they're upset a lot or they're mad at what he's doing I wouldn't be surprised that if they do have other friends outside of just their Idol friends but like normal as friends too that they probably especially when they're at school for the two youngest ones complain the fuck out of how annoying their freaking CEO is and how they can't do anything about it they probably worn their friends don't audition for the company I'm telling you it will be living fucking hell but they can't say that publicly. That probably goes against their contracts because I do think people forget that their entire relationship is based off of an employee contract at the end of the day.
Like I would love to see some of the jaywalkers and people who are upset at the fans who call out this weird shit sit there and actually fucking complain to their bosses about things. You wouldn't Jeremy I know that you're upset that they kept overlooking you Samantha because you're a woman but I highly doubt you're going up to your boss or your CEO and telling them hey I want you to give me this raise right now or I'm upset that you keep pushing this work on to me when I don't want to do no you shut the fuck up you sit down you do you work you get paid and then you talk shit about them when you're off work with your friends.
The only difference is that they don't really have that because he might just randomly fucking show up to their dorm that technically they can't even kick him out of because again he pays for it. Look I genuinely think that some people don't understand how contracts work or the fact that K-pop is an industry and it's a job being an idol is not just being with your friends making music even though it can be that sometimes. But you're still working for a corporation just because you seem buddy buddy or close with your boss doesn't mean you actually have a saying shit at the end of the day what they say goes. So you don't want to piss them off.
Anyway I'm done ranting here's a picture of some limited edition Oreo cookies that I bought because the store that I get my groceries from had a sale that they never have they were freaking three things of Oreo cookies for like $12 and doing that those bitches where I live are basically like $10 a fucking pack and they're the family size I jumped on it surprisingly they have the BTS ones and they had the Doom ones so I got both of those and a lemon Oreo pack.
But I genuinely think they're so talented that I don't want Jay to be the reason they are able to become bigger than they are because way too many people are going to affiliate and associate them with him and he's going to fuck up he does it every damn time he has a redemption Arc and then he does some racist stupid shit that pisses off a bunch of people and then instead of just apologizing which would then make most people accept it he goes on a fucking internet rant and makes it worse.
And I don't want to watch another company turn into fucking HYBE2.0 in terms of having a founder who uses their artists for their own Public image and popularity and creates a cult-like following within the fandoms so that they start becoming their personal attack dogs it's not a pretty thing to witness it's not a pretty thing to watch and it sucks when you were a part of it and then you had to jump shit because you watched all the craziness happening and you could not stand it and refuse to be a part of it because that's the crazy part that people seem to ignore is the fans Who start becoming Cults like followers will tear you apart if you're not a part of the cult so if you choose to not sit there and defend every little mistake that someone makes and acts like they're a fucking God if you're not worshiping Jay Park like he's Allah like he told you to do in his fucking song. Those fans who are doing it will basically tear you apart I feel bad for the girl group that's going to debut because depending on how he goes about it their fans if they have an issue with him are going to be fucking walked like a dog and if that's not the case then they're not going to have a fandom because they will really get rid of anyone who doesn't blindly follow what they say that's the danger.
