Sammy and Brooklynn resume their quest to find the mystery behind MantahCorp's operations on Nublar, and Sammy has had enough. Brooklynn realizes her mistake and apologizes, following Sammy's lead to a secret facility near the Raptor Paddock.
Meanwhile, Yaz goes for a run and comes back to find that Darius put Kenji in charge of supplies...and that Ben is nowhere to be seen. After a brief search, they find him and Bumpy mingling with a herd of Ankylosaurs, but Ben casts doubt on whether or not their friend group will last much longer themselves.
Sammy and Brooklynn's rush back to camp behind a herd of stampeding dinosaurs who are also aware of the new threat the girls uncovered: the Scorpios Rex, a terrifying hybrid that is rapidly approaching with the fury of the storm that Yaz realizes they're trapped with. The kids fortify their base while Yaz fortifies herself and pushes Sammy away...but when the Scorpios passes through their home, Sammy is mortally wounded. Hearing of an antidote that Brooklynn learned of earlier, Yaz races across the island to retrieve it...or to be as far away from her friend's death as possible.
Sammy slips slowly away as Brooklynn and Kenji tend to her, and Yaz fights tooth and nail to retrieve the antidote..assisted on her way back by Ben and Darius, who blow up Lookout Point as a distraction. As the last seconds slip away, Yaz confesses her true feelings to Sammy...and the farmgirl wakes up to see a shining, smiling face of love.

The CampFam sleeps on the boat and wakes at dawn after Kenji sets them adrift; using what fumes remain in the gas tank, he navigates them to a secret dock near his father's penthouse on the northern edge of the island. Navigating through the jungle on segways, the Nublar Six access the P-House with the help of Brooklynn's keycard...but a strangely-organized pack of Monolophosaurs finds another way in.
Soon, the CampFam's search for a compass and gasoline becomes perilous as they are split into two groups: one must descend the building through the elevator shaft, while the other accesses the garage through the vents. As victory draws nearer, Sammy becomes more concerned about what kind of a welcome she can expect at home, while Kenji and Darius grow closer thanks to the latter's encouraging words.
But all their hopes fail to factor in a dark shape that moves through the forests at night, damaging a drone from a strange company...

The CampFam return to the boat with appropriate attire after a brief storm passes; after a tense investigation, Darius and Brooklynn determine that the ship is, indeed, poacher-free...and that the newly-appointed Captain Kenji is a menace.
But Kenji is a benevolent captain, and declares that everyone should engage in a yacht party. His orders are even supported by Ben, whose patrol with Bumpy confirmed an absence of dinosaurs. Thus, for the rest of the afternoon, the Nublar Six dive, play, and relax to their heart's content...until twilight falls and something damages the boat.
Remembering their mission, the CampFam change back into their work outfits and search the dock for supplies...only to find that a pair of temperamental Ouranosaurs have declared the docks to be their territory. Fighting their way to freedom, the Nublar Six escape into the night aboard their new vessel, driving off their sail-backed pursuers.

After almost four long months of new ideas, bad ideas, failed plans, and careful preparation, the CampFam's stay on Isla Nublar finally comes to an end as they launch a raft. Loaded with supplies and looking forward to a full moon to make it easy for them to be spotted on their impending week at sea, the kids are finally on their way to rescue!
A lot has changed during this time. Sammy and Kenji have formed a secret handshake; Darius and Brooklynn have each gone up a shoe size; Ben has made sure everyone knows how he and Bumpy defeated Toro; and Yaz has finally maybe started to trust Brooklynn. But trust is a fragile thing, and so is a makeshift sail: one heavy gust of wind and a powerful wave later, and the hopeful family find themselves right back where they started.
During a tense group meeting, Kenji offhandedly reveals the location of a cache of hang-gliders, and the group quickly realizes that their wind-catching canvases will make for perfect sails. Thus, the next day's mission is planned: tomorrow, they head for Lookout Point! This adventure is almost over!

As Sammy recovers, Ben realizes that Bumpy is still missing and runs after her...away from his friends. Darius tracks him down, but Ben finally admits that he doesn't want to leave the island at all: he's scared of going home, knowing Bumpy doesn't have a place there.
But he soon realizes that Bumpy will be safe with her Ankylosaurus herd, and agrees to return to the boat to bid the others goodbye...but the boat is gone already, driven off by Scorpios Rex--or rather, the Scorpios Rexes. Realizing that leaving these animals alive means death for the island, Darius and Ben head inland, returning to the Jurassic Park Visitor Center to recover a tranquilizer rifle. En-route, they run into the rest of the CampFam and a Scorpios Rex.
Making one final stand in the Visitor Center, the crew hides and teams up with the Velociraptor who lives there to bring the building down on both of the hybrids, finally returning the island to equilibrium. After what one can only assume was the strongest nap and a long evening walk across the island, the Nublar Six are finally headed home...
...but Eli Mills and Henry Wu have other plans. The boat is detained by a helicopter, and the kids are separated in a Tyrannosaur attack. Ben's guidance keeps the heliocpter from being downed by Pteranodons, but a Brachiosaurus proves an unexpected surprise. Kenji, Sammy, and Ben all escape the treed aircraft and live to see midnight once more....
