Harry had not been PLANNING to invite them to dinner. Lucius knows this, because he had been present when the conversation with the infuriating Emma Swan hadgone on, and it had only been the boy’s disturbing andequally irritating penchant for sympathizing that he hadthrown out the invitation.
If Emma Swan did not desire to spend so much time withher parents, after all, she ought simply move out. Notenter Lucius’ less-than-sufficient Storybrooke home withher pirate in tow.
Lucius watches Killian where he sits at the table besideHarry, feigning a casual gaze from his placement in thekitchen; Emma is drinking wine, and Killian and Harry are arguing.
Killian is teasing, as he so oftne does, and he is so bloody a n n o y i n g, isn’t he? Lucius considersthe large knife in his hand, ready to chop chives,and he considers what it would be like to throw it,to see it pass directly through the flesh of Killian’sneck and pin him, cartoon-like, to the wall.
Lucius doesn’t LIKE cartoons, but he’d like to seethe blood drip from the knife buried in Killian’s throatif he threw it forwards.
Alas, he doubts the decision would be POPULAR,and so he returns to his herbs.

Lucius speaks with the best faux-sweet tone he can manage, voice almost SICKLY with a syrupy fakery, and he almost smiles, regarding the other man thoughtfully. He’s in Hogwarts for Potter - it is his first year teaching at Hogwarts, after all, and it won’t arouse a tremendous amount of suspicion for Lucius to come and see him the once - but to see young Killian Jones is a surprise indeed.
Lucius disliked the man’s father, but that hardly mattered now.
Killian had somewhat taken the job of ridding the world of such a fellow into his own HANDS, as it were.
“How charming to see you again. I didn’t know you’d taken a teaching position.”
That’s simply an untruth, but Lucius doesn’t mind telling it. He merely needs to be ready to grasp at his wand properly and remove it from his sheathe if the young man is as hot-tempered as Lucius has heard.
