Do you want to know what I think about at night?

Let me fucking tell you. I think about Hermann Fucking Gottlieb and his degree and field of study.

So he does Engineering and applied sciences, right? The movie calls him a mathematician, but we know he contributed to Jaeger code, specifically to the "AI" in them.

Here is my, burn out fueled proposal:

Hermann started his career with a mix that ENG&AS provides, focusing on mathematica, but dabbling enough in mschatronics to give hin foundation for his future work. I n mathematica hw landed on Numerical weather prediction, wanting to one day design a perfect, machine-learning based predictive model.

Then come Kaiju, PPDC, hewrites code foe Jaegers, ans instead of model for weather he focuses on analyzing the data, trying to locate the breach and create model for Kaiju attacks.

In short he is a mathematician but god damn it, he is a data scientist.
