I haven’t been giving Keiichi here as much love as I did in the last game, mostly because his rhymes have been a bit more minimal this time around. But I’m not going to the final fight without checking in on him and acknowledging once again, possibly for the last time here, how much I love this man and his attempts at rapping.
K1, I can shop with him again! But... What happened to his rhymes? Where’s the classic crazy raps that he was just dropping earlier? And his name is Keiichi now? Like was that always his name or did he change it?

Oh cool! So his rapping is still going strong, he just only busts it out as you shop more at his store. That’s quite nice! Another incentive to grind up his VIP Level.
I’m just happy to see him again. Another familiar face from the old ways! The goatee suits him pretty well, too.

I love this guy for all the wrong reasons. I mean, his name is K1! And he makes these silly rhymes with everything he says, all with a straight face pre-friendship.
I think people have compared his appearance to the Persona 2 protagonist, Tatsuya Suou.
I can definitely see it. Hey, alternate dimensions are canon to TWEWY, so maybe it's the same guy!
I know we'll probably never get it, but a Persona/TWEWY crossover could work so well and would be a dream come true.
I have good news about my friendship with K1!
Honestly, he just got better and better, which was kind of awesome. He puts more effort into his rhymes the more he likes you. Buying something and leaving the shop, as seen in that last image, finally causes him to fumble and mess up his line.
The shopkeeper had a character arc!
