Haven’t posted in a while but I had a pretty awesome day today so I thought I’d post so I’d have it on record. As some of you know already, I auditioned for @cultureshockla a week ago. I had been thinking about it for a long time and I have always been a fan of Culture Shock since I first saw them on stage (which if I remember correctly was separated by style) at my first Vibe as a Kaba Kid. Now, after years of inspiration and admiration, I have been blessed with the privilege to be a part of the company. I’m not going to lie, the wait until the roster reveal was pretty nerve wracking. But when the roster came out and I saw my name, I got pretty emotional. It brought me back to when I saw my name on the @kabamodern roster my first year, 8 years ago. It’s crazy because it’s like everything came back full circle. Thank you to the CSLA board for taking a chance and believing in me. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages and called me when they saw the roster. Thank you to everyone who convinced me to audition this year. Thank you to everyone who showed me support and love during this whole process. And thank you to everyone who has ever showed me support and love. I’m so excited for this upcoming year and I’m going to make sure your belief in me is well placed. I’m going to make you all proud!
