How I feel about this character

I like him. He does fit in well as part of Duckburg.

Jeeves, Flinty. Tho the latter in a ‘eventually John comes to his senses and leaves him’ kinda way.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I guess that I like both him and Flinty? I have seen some weird ‘you can only like one’ stuff which is odd. I do think Flinty is the 2nd richest but I don’t think it influences John’s character for me that much even if he is the 3rd or even further down the list.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

That we’d see more about his childhood. Also more interaction with Flinty.

Magica de Spell

What I like about them

She’s a female character in duck comics who did her own thing and wasn’t a love interest to anyone. Plus she’s fun and relatable in the italian comics where she’s the main character.

What I dislike about them

Hmm, her accent in the ducktales cartoon was confusing. Is it a Transylvanian or..?

Favourite moment

She banished you to an another dimension dude learn to take a hint she’s not into you. Also her grandma trying to set her up with guys she has no interest in is... relatable.

A situation with this character that I want to see explored more

Her interacting with Daisy more could be fun? They have interacted a bit (including a time Magica kidnapped her and pretended to be Daisy to get to the Dime) but it tends to be pretty superficial and often a case of Daisy just happening to be there when Magica has a scheme.

An interesting AU for this character

Probably something where she chose a different career... What if she never got into witchcraft?

A crossover

Scrooge comes to Belgium for business and the lucky dime is for some reason put in the safe in the Spirou offices, Magica tries to get it, Gaston keeps accidentally foiling her.

None really. She has a friend in some comics I could see as her ex (but it didn’t work because she’s a human duck disaster who can’t do relationships)

She’s a lesbian. As for her magic, different writers kinda disagree on what her powers actually are. Don Rosa for example writes her as using magical tools rather than having any intrinsic power. And while I do like that depiction... I remember there being a short ask column in the old Roope-Setä magazine that explained witches have an extra evil organ in their stomach that produces magic as an answer to how she does magic...
