Crap. Ah, you got me.

Rin is so fucking good looking, but Makoto is too damn adorable. I’d probably date Makoto, though. I feel like it’d be a more compatible relationship, I think.

Gives nose/forehead kisses - iwa but not until oikawa is asleep. after oikawa falls asleep on his shoulder watching some film on the tv, iwa is free to softly curl his hair between his fingers, leaving light kisses on the top of his head and anywhere he can reach without disturbing and waking oikawa

Gets jealous the most - despite the fact that oikawa is almost constantly surrounded by a swarm of women, he gets jealous more than iwa. 

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive - i dont see oikawa going to a bar necessarily but whenever he is drunk iwa takes very good care of him, dealing with his incessant flirting like a pro i might add

Takes care of on sick days - they both try to take care of each other, although iwa is the better one, especially when it comes to cooking meals in bed. oikawa isn’t the best cook, and most of the food is bland and doesn’t do much to help an upset stomach (if anything it makes it worse) but when iwa does get sick he appreciates everything oikawa tries to do for him, complimenting the food and watching whatever horrible movies are left for him.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach days - no matter how cold the water is oikawa always wants to swim, he drags iwa out into the freezing waves and jumps onto iwaizumi’s shoulders whenever his foot touches something in the dark water, leaving the other to stand in the freezing water trying to not tip over under the sudden weight.

Gives unprompted massages - they both dont really tell each other out loud how much they appreicate each other, most of the its lighthearted ‘i love you’s or some playful version of that, but occasionally a long heartfelt message is sent without warning and the two talk about it when they’re back home together

Drives/rides shotgun - iwaizumi drives most of the time, and oikawa sits next to him in the passenger seat unless they are with other people. in that case oikawa is in the back due to the fact he is the worst passenger ever; changing the radio station constantly, car dancing, pointing out random sights on the side of the road and distracting iwaizumi, etc.

Brings the other lunch at work - iwaizumi has longer breaks than oikawa, and he knows that the other would work right through his break unless there were a reason not to. he drops by with a small lunch and sits at oikawas desk as he eats, both discussing how their days are going so far before a quick kiss is given and they’re back to work

Has the better parental relationship - iwaizumi most likely, and his mom especially. she is very sweet toward oikawa, taking care of him like he was her own. shes very supportive of the both of them and makes sure they are well taken care of

Tries to start role-playing in bed - oikawa, although “try” would mean that he doesn’t succeed, which 9/10 times he does

Embarrassingly drunk dancer - put a few drinks in iwa and he’ll dance to whatever you put on, using old school moves and occasionally trying to slow dance with the closest person/object around despite the fast nature of most of the songs played

Still cries watching Titanic - oikawa has no shame is crying still during the titanic, while iwa tries to feign disinterest but is usually caught slipping out a few tears ( “are you crying, iwa-chan?” “no, my eye itches, shut up.” )

Firmly believes in couples costumes - oikawa firmly believes that if he is to go as a salt shaker then iwa is the pepper, when they were younger oikawa dressed up as an alien and made iwa a ufo costume out of an old cardboard box and sharpies

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas - they both do. the rule was originally set by iwa, but he breaks it to buy oikawa really nice charms. and oikawa never planned to follow that rule, claiming that he doesnt check prices before buying and he couldn’t just take it back

Makes the other eat breakfast - in the mornings oikawa is in quite a hurry, partly due to his habit of sleeping in, and iwa makes sure that he at least grabs a granola bar or piece of fruit on his way out the door.

Remembers anniversaries - they both are pretty good at remembering, although iwa’s method is a little more relaxed like maybe a night out at a nice restaurant and a hearfelt card. oikawa enthusiastically ships a beautiful flower arrangement complete with chocolate dipped fruit and a plush bear to iwa’s workplace, texting him long messages at the exact time of their anniversary.

Brings up having kids - oikawa mentions how nice little kids are, smiling softly at the sweet scenes of small children walking with their parents. they’re both very good with kids, although iwa is more stern, and after a while iwa brings up that he would be ok with them adopting a child if oikawa wanted.
