i've lost track of my questions so i'm sorry if i asked this already. But if the characters were in the avatar universe, what element do you think they would bend? Circus crew included if you can.

No worries if you asked before. I don’t think I’ve answered an avatar question anyway so you’re good. So I’m basing my answers not only on their powers but on the culture that I think fits them best.

Mickey would be an air bender hands down. The calm, the peace, the meditation, I see it working for him. The light, evasive fighting style would fit well for him.

Oswald on the other hand would be a fire bender. More aggressive, lively, dangerous, and direct.

Donald and Goofy strict me as earth kingdom fellows. Nonbenders, but hilarious.

The Cupbros would both be fire benders as well. It’s very much their fighting style and is a perfect fit. (I don’t want to know how many fights Cup has been in. And imagining Mugs trying to sound wise like Uncle Iroh just kills me.)

Felix would be from the earth kingdom. Also a nonbender but like Kyoshi Warrior kind of terrifying.

Cala Maria would make a good earth bender. She seems shy but she is determined and stubborn on a lot of things.

Holly would be a water bender. She gets to agitated to be an air bender and she’s not aggressive enough to be a fire bender. . . . She would be stubborn enough to be an earth bender. But she is also searching for a balance and understanding that really fits the flow of water.

Alice would make a great water bender. Not just because of the healing abilities but the ebb and flow of the water tribes culture would, the center of balance, just sounds perfect to me.

Boris could make a good earth bender. He can be unmoving, strong-willed, and a force to be reckoned with if pushed.

Finally, we have Bendy and he is a nonbender from the water tribes. Why? Because Bendy and Sokka could be twins. I can’t unsee this smart-mouthed, inventive, curious little demon running around with a boomerang and something to prove. Using skill and smarts over just pure power fits Bendy to a T. Even if a lot of that is on the fly and with a lot of screaming and complaining.
