The first part is a lie.
The second part is completely true.

49: Am I excited for anything? Erm. Halloween? And next summer’s SDCC, and… not a lot besides that. Funky depressive funk is funky.

oh lord. it depends on the time of day, the position of the moon and the amount of hedgehogs scurrying around my yard at any one time.
let’s go with a simple one from the illuminatus! trilogy that encapsulates the heart of my Most Important Quotes in six words: “ONLY THE MADMAN IS ABSOLUTELY SURE.”
or another. much more complex and nsfw favorite from transmetropolitan:
"I want to see possessed journalists! Yes! I want to see people like me, rising up with hate, laying about them with fiery eyes and steaming genitalia … possessed by ancient volcano gods from the polynesian islands waving vast breasts and improbable penises to the secret chiefs of the worlds … naked god-journalists brown-trousering the naughty twenty-four hours a day … a new planet earth..."

I keep seeing Fangirl mentioned places and I think I need to pick it up. I shall put it on the list.
I was really worried that fandom was going to come off badly in it or not be treated well, but the book really spoke to me. HOWEVER I didn't get much from Rowell's Eleanor & Park which came out earlier this year to great acclaim so she's definitely an author who - I wouldn't say 'hit or miss' but each of her books is very different.

3: Why I love my best friend - Because she lets me rope her into ridiculous adventures of derring do! (Also because she is amazing and laughs at me when necessary. And kills ants.)
17: A Fact about my life - I moved out to Seattle with friends once, but I moved home because I missed the snow too much. (I don't CARE if there's snow in the mountains. It is not close enough to me there!)
And also one for Shanie because I totally skipped this question in my excitement over books: I had braces and retainers for 12 years of my life and my teeth are STILL ridiculously bad. It's mean.
18: Phobia - I'm not SCARED of ants really, but I hate them inside the house with an almighty passion.
10, 18, 20 - When are you coming to visit meeeeee?
10) Accents, being able to speak multiple languages, slightly husky voices, women in men's clothing, genderfuckery in general.
18) ANYTHING GETTING TOO CLOSE TO MY EYES AUUUUUUUUUUUUGH. Also claustrophobia.
20) I'm trying to figure something out, I swear, but schedules are hard.
