A drawing of the two kiddos. So basically, Kaleb doesn't really like when other people do his hair. He only lets Lance do his hair cause he trusts him not to mess it up or hurt him when he does it. The only exception Kaleb has when it comes to his hair is Lulu. Lulu has always been fascinated with Kaleb’s hair every since they first met. Mostly because she doesn't have any hair herself and then out of blue she meets this furball and is immediately intrigued. So Kaleb does let her play with his hair whenever they see each other, even though he is still reluctant to it.

So, I know I have been very inactive on this blog lately and I am so sorry for that. I’ve been having a lot of my time taken away by school and I just don’t have the time to draw a lot or write long ass descriptions. So in order to be more active on here I’m going to start answering questions about this AU. My ask box is officially open. Ask anything about the next gen crew (like their backstory, funfacts, etc.) or how the original Voltron crew are like now as parents or just stuff about this AU in general. Ask anything as long as it isn’t inappropriate. We are keeping this blog PG-13 people.

I accidentally put day 7 instead of day 8. This is why I don't do traditional art. So for day 8 I decided to make my Kaleb the main focus. When Kaleb was born he was a couple months premature, which affected his height and strength as he grew older. When he turned 3 he was basically the size of a newborn and wouldn't start growing until he turned the age of 5. Thanks to all that he is below average height for Galra males. But thanks to the proper care from Keith and Lance he was at least able to get to human average height. So basically he's a complete and utter runt or in other words "frail" compared to the rest of his species along with other half-breeds. Because of this Keith never really wanted to bring Kaleb around other Galra or even introduce him to Galra culture out of fear he would get hurt. Yeah... Keith was kinda overprotective when he and Lance first adopted Kaleb. Which resulted in Kaleb not feeling comfortable in his own skin around other humans on Earth and even other Galra that he met when he was older. The only times he was with other Galra was whenever Krolia and Kolivan visited which wasn't much because they busy most of the time. So he has some issues with his identity when he's older. Insecurities am I right? PS - No. Kolivan and Krolia are not together in this AU, but Kaleb and Zachary do look at Kolivan as a kinda grandpa to them. They call him Koko.

Bonus:

Happy late-ass Mother’s day! I haven’t enjoyed it as much partly because I’ve been sick for five days and I have to return to school tomorrow. Fuuuuuuunnnnn... Anyway, yeah it’s kinda a joke in the family that Lance acts a lot like a mom. Even though he can get annoyed by it sometimes he still finds more benefits that come with it. Like you know being able to celebrate two holidays. And Keith just goes with it cause if his husband is happy then it’s worth the light teasing. Kaleb likes to plan out days like these and basically drags Zachary out to stores and stuff to get the things they need. Though Zack won’t admit it, he does like picking out gifts for his dads and family.^v^ Kaleb is just an over-theatric little shit like Lance and just goes all out (even though he most likely doesn’t know what he’s doing). If he does go overboard and doesn’t turn as well as he thought, his parents still very much appreciate the thought. At the end of the day they call up Mama McClain and Krolia to wish them a happy Mother’s day and send over the gifts they had gotten for them. This is two days late but I still wanted to do something for his birthday.^^ So Keith and the boys were planning on making Lance some choco churros as a surprise breakfast in bed kinda thing on his birthday. Though they soon realized how much trouble they were when the three of them found out that they can't cook for shit. Keith made some mistakes while reading the recipe. When the oven started to smell like smoke Keith realized he accidentally burnt all the churros and in the rush of trying to get them out, he burnt his hand as well. While Keith was tending to his hand Kaleb was trying to see if any churros were still edible and trying his best to keep them away from Cosmo. Zack upon smelling the smoke immediately went to go get the fire extinguisher even though he was being told repeatedly that they didn't need it. Zack, being only 6 years old, couldn't hold it or aim it right so he just ended up making an even bigger mess. After making all the ruckus from the kitchen Lance finally wakes up and comes down to see the huge mess that happened. He just told them that it's the thought that counts and to just clean up the kitchen so they can relax and watch a movie. By the way the image I used as a background for the second drawing is a stock image I got from google.
