Giving

Tanjiro's favourite kisses to give you are sweet kisses on the cheek.

He always gives them to you for good luck or whenever he leaves to go out on a mission.

Loves the way your cheeks flush after giving you a peck and pulling away.

The feeling of your cheek against his lips makes him feel warm and fuzzy too, so expect his cheeks to be pink too.

Also expect a triple combo of having not one but both cheeks kissed and then a little smooch on your lips too.

Receiving

His favourite kisses from you are whenever you kiss his forehead LOL.

Hear me out, the poor guy always headbutts his foes, and after a long day of fighting demons, having something soft to brush against his forehead is a breath of fresh air.

He’d instantly relax and just lean into your kiss, the tension and battle of the day all going to the back of his mind.

While you kiss his forehead, he loves putting his hands on your hips and just leaning down to let you kiss him.

He’s like a cat pressing against you, searching for more kisses against his head.

𝒁𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒔𝒖 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒂

Giving

Zenitsu’s favourite kiss to share with you is a kiss to your hands.

When you first got together, he had to work up the courage to start kissing you on your face, so your hands were a comforting place to start showing affection.

In the beginning, when he’d take your hand while sitting with you, caressing the top of your palm with his thumb before bringing it to his lips.

Even when asleep, he’d reach for your hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing it as he dreams.

He’s such a sweetie when he kisses your hand too, always offering his hand and then leaning to kiss your skin when helping you step down from a high place or just greeting you in general.

Receiving

Honestly, this guy probably is the most indecisive when it comes to you; even if you ask him what clothes suit you best, he’ll just compliment you, saying, “You look lovely in anything, (Y/N)!” 

But despite LOVING any type of kiss you give, Zenitsu loves a simple kiss on the cheek, especially right next to his ear.

His favourite pastime is resting after a long day of slaying demons, and you’re just beside him, and you lean in close to kiss his cheek.

The poor guy will have steam coming out of his ears, his skin flushed as your lips brush his skin, the sweet spot close to his ear and his neck.

And what seals the deal is if you whisper sweet nothings in his ear and kiss this spot, he’ll be putty in your hands.

𝑰𝒏𝒐𝒔𝒖𝒌𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒓𝒂

Giving

NGL, this guy probably—or most likely—thought kissing was like eating or a fighting move.

Nevertheless, when you teach him how to kiss, his favourite kiss to give you is when he buries his face in the crook of your neck.

Here he kisses your collarbone to the underside of your ear, maybe leaving some bites because he’s Inosuke LOL.

He thinks that spot is the best to kiss you because, one, you smell nice there; two, you squirm in his hold while he does so; and three, he finds it the best place to show off to others that you're his.

He often grabs you from behind, strong arms around your waist while he peppers kisses along your shoulder and neck.

Receiving

With being burly and not the type to think too hard about things, he’d simply say he enjoys when you kiss his muscles.

Which in a way is true since he likes to flex his biceps, and when you pet his muscle and give it a kiss, he just pauses before beaming and showing off more.

It’s like him showing off all his hard work in training, and getting you to appreciate it just makes him more motivated.

He enjoys your kisses, especially when he’s getting patched up and you kiss his injured arms or kiss the calluses on his palms and fingers.

Oh, how he wishes he could move properly so he could just pull you in and smother you, mumbling about the weird flutter in his tummy when you kiss him.

𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒂 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒛𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒘𝒂

Giving

Genya was SUPER sheepish when learning to kiss you as you two got close, but as time passed, he found confidence in showing you his love.

He especially loves giving you long kisses just straight on the lips; he cups your face and gives you the sweetest yet most earnest kiss ever.

He finds this to be his favourite kiss because in the world of having to fight demons, he finds this kiss to show you his love and appreciation the best.

Genya’s kisses are often rough yet yearning since he has so much love for you, and he tries to pour his appreciation into one kiss.

Despite loving the long kisses, he does enjoy the chaste little kisses on the lips; he often gives you those while you two are getting ready for bed.

Receiving

This sweet guy was so shy when you two got together, and he just cherishes any kiss you give him.

But he holds the kisses you give to the scar across his face at the highest level of worship.

Cupping his face as he leans into your touch while you kiss the scarred skin just makes him melt.

The whole world around him fades, and he just focuses on your touch and lips, such a simple kiss making him feel cared for.

He sometimes dislikes the scar he bears due to how he got it, but whenever you kiss it, he just melts and feels like the luckiest guy in the world to get a person like you in his life.

Kamaboko squad crushing on you headcanons !

WARNINGS: None! Enjoy! :)

Tanjiro Kamado

- Tanjiro will try sooooo hard to act normal around you… but he still ends up zoning out while you’re talking, too lost in staring at you. 

- If you compliment his strength, he’ll start training twice as hard! (He won’t say he wants to impress you, but secretly he does.)

- He remembers even the smallest things when you’re talking. He pays attention to every single thing you say, and tucks them away for future reference! You mention you like apples once? Two weeks later he’s bringing you a basket of apples when you asked him to hang out!

- If you’re sick or hurt, there’s really no hiding it from him. He’ll start acting like a big brother and won’t leave your side unless he has to go on a mission. He’s (not surprisingly) really good at caring for you when you’re sick!

- Because of his sense of smell, he can easily tell what you’re feeling at any moment. If he picks up that you’re sad or angry, he won’t outright say anything, as to not overwhelm you, but he’ll try to subtly ask what happened so he can comfort you.

- If you’re a higher rank than him, he’ll ask you to train him so that he can be strong like you! (And so he can spend more time with you!)

- If you’re lower or the same rank, he’ll try and plan things out so you guys can go on the same missions! If you’re lower, he might also help you out with things, but only if you ask because he dosent wanna overstep. 

- He’ll do chores for you if you ask him or if he sees you struggling. He’s actually pretty good at housework, and he doesn't mind helping out so you can take a break!

- He’s oblivious. He won’t get the memo that you like him back until you outright say it. And when you do? He’s over the moon! He’ll get flustered but still keep that same kind smile on his face, taking your hands in his and reaffirming his love for you too, promising he’ll protect you with everything he has.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

- Ohhhh boy… you already know Zenitsu likes you from the moment he starts talking. He’s not exactly subtle… the real fun part is how long it’ll take you to like him back.

- The first time he starts talking to you, he’ll drop down to his knees and beg you to marry him with tears streaming out of his mouth. Which you denied… obviously. 

- He’ll talk about you so much to Tanjiro and Inosuke that they also know everything about you at this point. Your favorite color, food, goals in life, shoe size… wait, how did he get that one?!

- He WILL do sappy cringe stuff that he might explode if anyone find them. He’ll crave your initials into a tree, write sappy love letters that he’ll never send, try his best to make cute crafts for you but fail miserably.

- He’ll constantly try showing off in front of you. Whether it be talking about a successful missions, showing off his sword skills, or striking an odd pose. He’ll get really annoyed if someone else one ups him while he’s showing off, though.

- Even if you don’t like him back, he won’t stop trying! He’ll spend every moment he can around you! He’ll cry if he has to go on missions without you too. You can except this boy to keep bugging you until the day you die, or the day you like him back.

- Once you finally tell him you like him back, he might faint from excitement. Then he’ll start crying from joy, his face the color of a tomato while screaming that he knew you liked him back and now you guys could get married. Whicchhhh you quickly shut down his marriage yap…

Inosuke Hashibira

- Inosuke is probably the weirdest out of the whole bunch at showing his love. Growing up in the mountains, he dosent understand romance or what love is really. He won’t know what a crush is until Tanjiro or Zenitsu explain it to him.

- He’ll start liking you because you’re strong. He thinks that you’re a worthy opponent, so he’ll start trying to fight you whenever he can! Which you probably deny. Then he’ll want to impress you, he dosent know why, but he likes the way you laugh when he does some crazy trick.

- He’ll do crazy things like backflip into rivers, fight wild animals, headbutt inanimate objects, do headstands and other weird body positions. He’ll get oddly quiet for a moment if you show concern after he does something like that, before putting his hands on his hips and grinning widely, claiming that it’s gonna take more than that to take him out.

- He’ll give you gifts… but not the kind you except. He’ll bring you an interesting leaf, a bottle cap, a singular potato chip, anything he thinks looks cool, and he excepts you to act like it’s the most sacred thing on earth.

- He’ll try to cook you food he likes! He’ll fail miserably. First he’ll bring you raw meat that he hunted himself, since that’s what he did when living in the mountains! When he sees you cooking it, he’ll try it out for himself and bring you cooked meat. Which is burnt to a damn crisp. When you ask him, he says he cooked it for 2 hours. After a while he’ll just go to Aoi begging for help, and then bring it to you like he did it all himself. But you have a stinking suspicion that he did not.

- He has no sense of boundaries. He’ll just sit by you at any given moment. You’re having dinner? He’s there. You’re training? He’s there. You’re trying to nap? He’s there.

- Once you say you like him back, he just nods like he already knew, grinning widely and boldly claiming anyone would like someone as cool as him. But he’s actually super happy! He loves being around you, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Genya Shinazugawa

- This poor boy has no clue what to do. Genya will get super flustered just looking at you. If you try talking to him? He’ll get red in the face and just completely forget how to speak.

- He’ll try asking Sanemi for advice, but once Sanemi yells at him for bothering him about something so stupid, he’ll realize he’s all on his own and has to figure it out by himself.

- If anyone asks or teases him about his crush, he’ll get red from both embarrassment and anger and yell at them to shut the hell up about it.

- He’ll WANT to make small gifts for you, but he’ll end up contemplating and overthinking so much he’d end up not knowing what to make for you or if he should even give it to you. If he does end up doing it, it’ll be totally anonymous and he’ll deny it if you ask him about you.

- He’ll avoid 1 on 1 situations with you at all costs. He’ll be more comfortable talking to you in a group, but he’s still embarrassed since he likes you.

- Genya is stubborn, it’ll take him a while to open up and get to the point where he can talk to you like normal and even compliment you. If you compliment him first or do it back, his ears will turn red and he won’t know what to say.

- It’ll definitely take a while for him to get confident enough to be bolder with his feelings. But still, in the end, you’ll be the one who’s confessing. When you do? His brain just kinda short circuits. He’ll probably think it’s a joke at first, but once he realizes you’re serious? His face heats up and he’s at a loss for words. He looks anywhere but you while saying he likes you back. And if you try and hug him or anything afterwards, he thinks he might just die on the spot.

The wind whispered through the trees as you walked along the dirt path leading back to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. The sky was a soft lavender hue, the first stars beginning to twinkle above. It had been a long mission, but at least it had ended in victory.

You barely made it past the first torii gate when you heard it—a rustling, then hurried footsteps.

“Y/n-sensei!”

Three voices, in unison, calling out to you.

You didn’t even have time to turn before a weight slammed into your side. Tanjiro, ever so gentle despite his strength, buried his face in your shoulder. His breath hitched, relief clear in the way his hands clutched your haori.

“You’re back,” he murmured. “We were so worried.”

A second body crashed into your other side, significantly less gentle.

“Where the hell were you?! We’ve been starving without you!” Inosuke’s voice was loud, muffled only slightly by the way his forehead was pressed into your shoulder. “These idiots didn’t let me run into the mountains to find you!”

And then, Zenitsu. Clinging to your arm like a desperate child, his wails loud enough to alert the entire estate.

“Y-Y/n-sensei! You can’t just go off on dangerous missions without us! What if something happened to you?! Who would cook for us?! Who would make sure Inosuke doesn’t punch a Hashira in the face?! Who would protect us?!”

You sighed, though your lips curled into a fond smile. These three were more than just your students. Somewhere along the line, they had become your ducklings, following you around wherever you went, seeking your approval, your presence.

With a chuckle, you ruffled their hair one by one.

“I missed you too,” you admitted. “And I’m fine. You know I’m a Hashira, right? It’ll take more than a few demons to take me down.”

“B-But still!” Zenitsu sniffled.

“Enough whining,” Inosuke grumbled, though he was still very much glued to your side. “She’s back, and now she can feed us!”

Tanjiro laughed softly, finally pulling back, though his hands still clutched your sleeve. “Are you hungry too, Y/n-sensei? You must be exhausted.”

You hummed, pretending to consider it. “I could use a meal. How about we all eat together? My treat.”

Zenitsu gasped, tears sparkling in his eyes. “I knew it! You do love us! You do care!”

Inosuke pumped a fist into the air. “FOOOOD! Finally!”

Tanjiro’s smile was radiant, his exhaustion melting into quiet happiness. “Let’s go. I’ll help cook.”

And just like that, the three of them trailed behind you, sticking close like ducklings to their mother.

You couldn’t help but feel warm at the sight.

Yes, they were warriors.

Yes, they were strong.

But at the end of the day, they were still just kids.

And you would protect them, feed them, and care for them as long as they needed you to.

The kitchen at headquarters was already warm when you arrived, and despite their exhaustion, all three boys eagerly helped prepare the meal.

Tanjiro, ever reliable, was already washing rice and cutting vegetables. Zenitsu grumbled about being forced to help, but his hands moved skillfully as he worked on seasoning the fish. Inosuke, surprisingly, listened to directions—for the most part. He still insisted on “hunting” ingredients, which really just meant charging into the pantry and coming back with an entire bag of flour like it was a prized kill.

“Y/n-sensei! Look! I got this myself! Now make something good with it!”

You pinched the bridge of your nose. “Inosuke, put that back. We don’t need flour for-”

“Don’t waste my bounty!”

Zenitsu groaned. “You absolute barbarian! You can’t just bring random things and expect them to work in the meal!”

“Yes, I can! And Y/n-sensei is the best! She can cook anything!”

You sighed but patted Inosuke’s head, making him freeze in place before puffing up proudly. “I appreciate the enthusiasm. How about next time we bake something?”

The wild boar boy nodded sagely. “Hmph. Fine. But only because you said so.”

Dinner was simple. grilled fish, miso soup, fresh rice, and vegetables. Nothing fancy, but by the way the three of them practically inhaled their portions, you would have thought it was a feast.

Zenitsu let out a dramatic sigh, clutching his stomach. “I could cry. This is the best meal I’ve had in forever.”

Tanjiro, cheeks slightly puffed with rice, nodded in agreement. “It’s really good, Y/n-sensei. Thank you.”

Inosuke, on his third serving, was too busy stuffing his face to respond verbally. Instead, he let out a pleased grunt.

You shook your head fondly. “Honestly, what would you three do without me?”

Zenitsu gasped. “Perish.”

Tanjiro coughed, looking embarrassed. “I’d… probably manage.”

Inosuke shrugged. “I’d be fine, obviously. But if you want to keep cooking for me, I won’t stop you.”

You smiled, gathering their empty bowls and ruffling their hair once more. “Then I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on you three, huh?”

Zenitsu immediately melted into your touch. “Yes, please.”

Tanjiro laughed sheepishly. “If it’s not too much trouble.”

Inosuke let out a grunt, but you caught the way his lips twitched upward.

You sighed, shaking your head. “What a handful.”

But they were your handful. And you wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.
