Please note that I’ve taken some liberties with Hera & Kanan- I think there’s a lekku mod but I’m too lazy to go track it down- so Hera has hair.

My headcanon w/r/t that Moons of Rion thing is that it was the first time the two idiots *got together* (and I think you know what I mean by that). A tropical paradise, booze drinks, presumably fewer items of clothing...one thing leads to another...YOU know. But, also, it means that maybe they didn’t have to cram into a bunk- I just think that’s, you know...nice. Nicer. Whatever. Anyway. I’ve been dealing with some stuff lately and this is keeping me from spiraling into depression- hopefully, you’ll be entertained, too.

The Kanan in the previous version of this post was wearing ridiculous shorts, and his physique didn’t quite match the CANON version in the Kanan comics, so I decided to change that. 

The sexual tension is really getting to them both! They’ve each had a couple of tropical resort drinks with the little umbrellas, and they’re really enjoying each other’s company and the distinct lack of Chopper’s chopblocking...

They made out on the beach for a while, but things were getting pretty heated and Hera lost her bathing suit top somehow, so Kanan suggested they go inside...

And, oh, look, they ended up in the bedroom. 

THESE ARE THE FACES OF TWO PEOPLE WHO KNOW IT’S ABOUT TO GO DOWN, RIGHT?

At this point, Hera’s just like “f-ck it, let’s do this.”

And Kanan’s like [internally screaming with glee]

Some things we know because it’s a universally-agreed-upon truth amongst Kanera fic writers: Kanan has appropriately-sized equipment that he knows how to use. Some things I added: Hera is also a spectacular lay.

It’s been a loooooooong time since I updated this one (it used to be called “To the Stars”). I think about it all the time. I’ve been sitting on this chapter forever- I had most of it written, but it just wasn’t working. Decided to sit down and do the thing today. 

I really would like to continue updating this one- the fact that Kanan’s an Earthling is so fun, and it means I can eventually bring a little more of a Guardians of the Galaxy kind of flavor into it. I love Star Wars a lot, but sometimes it the lack of music, s8x (bleeping that one so my post doesn’t get flagged by the prudes) and swearing bums me out. I’m an adult, damn it!
