if you aren’t using libby, hoopla and kanopy through your library services then you are severely under utilizing your library card. they are all free, go download them. i’m watching a movie i’ve wanted to watch for years rn bc of kanopy

I'd been meaning to post about this for a few days now, but kept forgetting, so... 💁🏾 the IRONY of someone else posting about it yesterday, the very same day I went to get my very first library card for this *exact* purpose, is kismet!! unfortunately, our library doesn't currently support Kanopy...🤦🏾 hopefully, it will in the future...🤞🏾🤞🏾

🧏🏾 at least there are still several other reasons to have a library card!! 🤷🏾

oh, and apparently, there *is* a monthly limit of 10 play credits on the app. so, there's that. of course, if your local library supports Kanopy, you might consider looking into it — I think I noticed [when I was attempting to set up an account] that teachers & college students can use their university login information to access the app, too...

something to consider now that Netflix has raised its prices once again: basic is $11.⁹⁹ & premium [whateverthefuck *that* gets you] is $22.⁹⁹
