Introducing the Maid Character: Totoko 04 - Read Online / DDL

If you like Angry Eyes Maids, then rest assured Kikyo will be along for the long haul. If you don’t, don’t worry, they use her pretty sparingly and even find a few different jokes for her!

Literal translations and joke spoilers under the cut for those interested.

Totoko originally followed a path of shitsugen kinshi (Rude Remarks Forbidden) > shikkin (incontinent), which was basically just a haha poopie gag, so I just made it haha nakie because that fit the structure. And lest you think I oversold it in the typesetting, rest assured I styled it subtler than the original:

I really wanted to put in a note for Binarians too (a suborder of land-based predatory flatworms) but I could only fit in one Rick on this page and I decided it was more important to goof on Orgone Energy. The name of the secret society is basically a direct translation, but in the original Japanese all the hoods were embroidered with K-KGB (kuro-kougaibiru)

by the by, I was pretty blitzed when I had the unarguably hilarious ranger rick head idea, so at the time I figured what if it wasn’t just that their hats have different letters (did you notice?), but what if I also hue shifted them to different colors?

Well, that’s why. Good thing I’ve learned to do a “morning after” check on chapters when I wake up glued to my desk with vomit and spittle! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
