I’ve been playing the remake of Paper Luigi The Marvelous Compass and I gotta say that Princess Eclair is a really stand out character in the Mario universe and it’s a shame they never brought her back. Also what’s up with Mario’s side story? I wonder if they’ll ever make that a game like Paper Mario The Crystal Stars or something

Who’s your favorite of Luigi’s partners? Mine has definitely gotta be Torque. He’s got the most HP and is great for tanking hits, but he’s also got crazy good attack with his multi hit wrench attack at rank 1 and his rank 2 attack where he tramples the enemies with a horde of karts

So. As much as I don’t particularly care for TTYD’s gameplay, I do have one reason to keep playing it, and that is for Luigi’s little story about Princess Éclair and the Waffle Kingdom. So. I did these messy little concept art doodles of her. I did just color pick from the eclairs in the background, and those dresses were vaguely used as reference. But, yea, here she is. The emblem is a strawberry because the red dots on her dress are supposed to be like. Strawberries on the green éclair on the top. Also Luigi for size reference. She’s not too terribly tall but she, like everybody, would tower over Mario.

💛🧇 Princess Éclair 🧇💛

Characters in the Mario series like Éclair have always fascinated me ever since I was a little kid. She’s basically one of those, “mentioned, but never seen” types of characters, so that alone just leaves it up to the player’s imagination for what she would look like.

I remember first drawing my own design for her when I was around 7 years old, iirc, but I don’t know where the old drawing is, and it’s probably lost somewhere in the depths of my house forever.

Got inspired to draw her after stumbling upon some other fanmade designs of her I saw on DeviantArt and Tumblr. I also wanted to draw her to celebrate the future release of the remake of PMTTYD, and also for Blacktober (yes, ik it’s the middle of October, but you shouldn’t be surprised that I’m fashionably late for everything at this point lmao).

This is my third time drawing a character with vitiligo, and I thought it would suit her. She lowkey reminds me of one of those Breyer’s vanilla mixed with chocolate ice creams 🤍🤎

All in all, I love how her design turned out sm, she looks like a mcfreaking queen 😭💖

I also made a little bio for her for fun, but I haven’t quite figured out what her personality should be, so apologies if it’s just her likes and dislikes and nothing more.

So yesterday I decided to make a Rabbid oc inspired by this design (credits to the artist on the Pinterest post that gave me the inspiration are included)

And when I first started drawing her I decided to draw her looking at Claire in curiosity as her and the possible rabbid oc my twin might make will be in the BluewellCU (Claire's origins/my oc lore) × Sparks Of Hope Phantom Show crossover

For the base of the rabbid oc I used this screenshot (below) from a Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party cutscene

Orginally I was gonna do something like the rabbid girl from The Last Spark Hunter and some other rabbid ocs I've seen here and put her in a dress but with the base it was impossible so I switched to shorts for her on the spot, like the Princess Eclair character she was gonna have a crown but I figured I'd make her a bit more unique kinda like Edge, Midnite, and some of the npc rabbids like that DJ in the first area, I have no name for her yet but I'm open to dessert like name suggestions

You know what I'd hope for in the TTYD Remake? Playable Luigi side quests in his endeavor to save Princess Eclair.
