More character creater stuff
when i'll become a klapollo hater it will be because of this
Why Kapollo Doesn’t Work
Let me be clear that I do not hate Kapollo. As a ship, I consider it “okay.” Though, with that said, there is a huge problem I do have with the Kapollo stuff I often see. It’s not just Tumblr, though I do see it here too, it’s everywhere. If you love Kapollo, that’s good. As I said, I don’t hate it, but my feelings for it in this poste have more to do with the interpretation of it among Kapollo fans.
Whenever I see Kapollo, the first thing I notice is how obviously similar it is to many of the Wrightworth fics and fan art I see. In other words, because Apollo and Klavier are the well known rivals, that means they must be in love. Because of how much it associates with Wrightworth, it often feels out-of-place. Kapollo is treated like they were destined, because… they’re rivals? Their relationship is close and personal because… they’re rivals? Apollo obviously has feelings for Klavier, because… that’s his rival? Question: what does being oppositions have to do with falling in love exactly?
With Wrightworth, the reason that pairing works so well is because of their history and relationship. Phoenix and Miles have known each other since they were children. Phoenix continually chased after Miles and even changed his career just to meet Miles. The level of dedication Phoenix has for Miles is beyond compare. Phoenix is willing to make sacrifices to save Miles and vice versa. Miles is willing to work with and go against Phoenix in order to save someone or find the truth. They differ in personality and opinions, but are able to use those differences to save each other and many others. They can battle it out in court without their relationship going under. They can understand when the other one is in trouble. They can help the other one save someone each care about. It’s the kind of loyalty that’s rare and is often associated with couples.
Kapollo does not have this kind of relationship. Apollo and Klavier had literally just met during the second case of Apollo Justice. Their only bond is through the fact Klavier is the younger brother of Apollo’s former mentor and the fact he was the reason Phoenix lost his attorney’s badge. Apollo only learned to trust Klavier, because he showed himself to searching for the truth and working with the Defense Attorney to do so. Apollo never saved Klavier and technically exposed him for starting that false accusation against Phoenix and ruining his life. Granted, Klavier did admit to doing so, but only because he realized what he did was wrong and wanted to make things right. He may’ve worked with Apollo to get to the truth, but he didn’t save Apollo or even helped him afterwards, aside from replaying a mock trial, which could be seen as him helping Apollo in order to avenge his former mentor. Neither Apollo or Klavier are making any sacrifices or showing their undying loyalty for each other. Heck, the only prosecutor Apollo has proven to make any sacrifice or showing undying loyalty for is Nahyuta and any other person outside of prosecutors he shows this to is Clay and his colleagues. By comparison, despite the obvious age gap, pairing Apollo with Phoenix and associating it with Wrightworth would make better sense.
Again, I’m not saying that I hate Kapollo and I’m certainly not saying no one can make a Kapollo work. What I am saying is that Kapollo can’t be associated with Wrightworth and work. It needs to be it’s own unique relationship from Wrightworth. It can’t be something that Phoenix knows, because of his own relationship with Miles or vice versa with Miles towards Klavier. In my opinion, Kapollo is a possible relationship that has a long ways to go before it can do any favors for me. For now, I still consider pairing Apollo with Clay, Ema or Athena to have a much better shot than Klavier.
Those are my thoughts. What do you guys think?
if you like ace attorney! ! I wanna talk 2 u !! Especially abt kapollo wrightworth! !
So I watched this movie called For Better or for Worst on Hallmark and it was about a divorce lawyer setting up his office next to a wedding planner. This obviously sets conflicts and it’s later informed that the Wedding Planner’s son is going to marry The divorce lawyer’s daughter. And this is a Hallmark movie so everyone falls in love
Let me propose an AU Were the wedding planner is Phoenix and the Divorce lawyer is Miles. Phoenix’s son is Apollo and will be marrying Miles’ son, Klavier. So this could be a narumitsu/kapollo au. I got to start wrighting this. :3
Nein, nein, Heir Forehead. That feigned swagger doesn’t suit you in the least
Klavier Gavin
Aa5 case 3 #2
“Herr forehead” *Prosecutor Gavin appears* Instantly tears surfaced out of joy. That theme alone is enough to make me smile. I get to see more Klapollo. There is gonna be a dash of Cykesquil in there, cause of obviois reasons, and I’ve gotta say it now. If I see even a hint of that man in a cravat, I’m gonna declare favorite case (that means some wrightworth ladies and gents). All of my ships, in one loading dock? Are you freaking kidding me?!?
