This is Kapra, an ancient robot designed to be a combination "dorm mother" and dean of one wing of a huge college. Thousands of years have passed since real students roamed the halls, and she is now the defacto leader of a refugee city built into it's dorms and classrooms. Unable to deviate from her programming, she calls the townsfolk "students," and governs using the rules of the school. To the people living on Flying Fort Skaralia, she is a beloved, but mysterious figure.
