The Otome Games Celebration is running now, for one week from May 4th to May 11th! There are over 140+ otome games in the event, from 80+ developers and publishers. Both My Husband is a Stranger and the Karamu Trilogy are participating this year~
To commemorate the festival, I've released a short, exclusive preview of the Karamu remake on Steam for you to check out!
I like this game! It expresses the inside of someone with a lot of anxiety. My favorite part is that Geist's route doesn't a bad ending. I think that's right, if you're tired enough to be swayed by the voice of anxiety, It's okay to take a break..
Anyway, awesome art, cool comic book style.. If anyone hasn't tried Play, give it a try!
...Unfinished Geist.
And Karamu's characters came out as a cameo, which gave me a pleasant surprise.
Lovely Couple!
This was trying to play and draw Kanau. But I can't remember what I was trying to draw.
All right, that's all for the doodle involved.
I heard that the last episode of Karamu is being prepared! I'll be waiting for it happily ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
Endemic to New Zealand coastal and lowland areas, but an increasingly serious weed in Victoria and Tasmania. The fruit is spread by birds and the plant grows readily from seed in infertile soils, and in poorly drained and exposed lands. It can also grow in a large range of altitude varying from sea level to 1,200 meters, under full sun to shady, windy and frostprone habitats.
Introduced mammals such as goats (Capra hircus) and deer (Cervus elaphus) have a severe impact on karamū, and hares (Lepus timidus) and rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) eat the seedlings.
The berries are edible and leaves can be brewed into a medicinal tea. The leaves are believed by Maori to have the ability to deal with kidney troubles and the bark to treat stomachache and vomiting. Karamū is rich in dyes including alizarin and purpurin. Sometimes leaves of the plant were put on stones to dye the food and preserve them after a hangi.
Do you mind if I ask your opinion on the yandere in the game "Karamu" on itch.io
I think the yandere in that game is pretty interesting. The game isn't long, and it's a finshed one as well.
Yup no worries, I have the game recommendation for that locked and loaded inside of my drafts. I'll probably release it this week. I will say I really liked the aesthetics of it and just the general story overall. Very well made and it had a good story as well.
Two weeks ago, Nelli sent her long-term boyfriend, Raku, the following text: "I'm breaking up with you." She has been successfully avoiding him ever since...until her bike chain breaks. He helps her, but now she's trapped in a forest with only her broken bike, a cellphone with no reception, and her slightly creepy ex-boyfriend for company. He wants to talk, and one thing is clear: he really doesn't want to break up. (He probably won't take no for an answer.)
Yoooooo this was so fun?? If you've been here a while you know I love horror otomes, and this really scratched that itch. It isn't too long, and I feel like everything I like about it is spoilers which makes it hard to explain why this is one you should check out.
I will say that both characters having issues (like, really bad issues lol) made them both fun, and I always appreciate a main character that isn't exactly a good person. The entire story can also only be pieced together by getting each ending, and the true ending only unlocks after getting the first end. That's always one of my favorite ways for a game to be set up, especially a short one, because I feel a lot more motivated to get every ending.
The comic style/live 2D was also a nice touch! I enjoyed all the movement this had, and I'm sure it was a lot of work to do. The voice acting was also really nice, and I really vibed with Raku's VA. Overall, this was a solid entry, and another game to add to my collection of horror otomes.
