Hey there. Haven't updated much lately. I've been too busy with work. Now that I've got a break, I will try and update more. I've been trying to keep busy; spraining my ankle doesn't help much. I'm averaging 3-4 karate classes a week, which is good. I'm going to Crossfit every opportunity I can get (this morning I swear I squatted over 50kgs!), and feeling just that little bit stronger every time. I can finally go to a yoga class tomorrow morning, now that I've got a Wednesday free.
I went to my karate club's Black Belt Camp on the weekend, and saw a few more people join the Shodan-Ho ranks. It's a little nerve-wrecking to think that this time next year, that will hopefully be me. Though I fared well during the sparring (minus all the bruises I'm littered with), I feel I've got a lot to work on over that time. I plan on being 10x fitter than I already am. I plan to be better at sparring. I need to work on my bunkai, specifically those needed for my demonstration.
Still eating as healthily as possible, though it's a little tricky with the upcoming Easter holiday. After this week, I'm going on a chocolate cleanse/detox. No chocolate until after the 8th of April. That's when my kyu grading is, and I need to be at the top of my game.
