Kar walked down the hall. He was heading straight for the gym. He had been signed up for a special class that was being given by the school's new teacher. He didn't know who the new teacher was, or what their were teaching, only that the class was in the gym.

It was his first day at his new school. And he was more than nervous. He fiddled with the bracelet with a blue stone that he wore on his right arm. Kar took a deep breath before he walked into the building. He looked around at his new surroundings, and all the different creatures around him. Kar ducked his head and quickly made his way over to his locker. He had gotten a tour over the weekend and had already been assigned a locker. Some of the other monsters gave him dirty looks. They thought he was a human. Oh, if only they new what kind of monster he really was. He quickly slipped past a small group of vampires. Kar glanced at them before stopping at his locker. He opened it as he started depositing he belongings.

Kar Garrett {Birthday Drabble}
Kar was up in his room, tightening the net on his lacrosse stick. After a couple minutes of adjustments, he tested it out by hitting the net carefully with his fist. Once he was satisfied that it was good enough, he set the stick down. He glanced out his bedroom window before grabbing his play book. He looked through it as a chewed on his thumb, a nervous tick that he had. Kar sat in silence up there for a while before there was a knock at his door. He set the book down and told whoever it was to come in. The door opened and his older brother walked in holding a long box. He smiled and greeted Kar, setting the box down on the bed. Kar greeted him back with a confused look on his face. Then he asked his brother what he was doing here. His brother smiled and laughed. He patted the box and said that it was for his birthday. He then scuffed up Kar's hair before leaving. Kar glared at him as he left. Then he turned to the box and opened it. Inside was a new lacrosse stick. Just in case his old one broke. He smiled. Then Kar picked it up and inspected it. Perfect.

Kar had his nose in a book, trying to work on the project he had, while his partner, an Anonymous, was goofing off on her tumblr. Anona giggled at something on her screen, as Kar looked up at her with a slight glare. He sighed and closed the book. He set it down then swiped her phone right out of her hands. Anona jumped in shock before she glared at him. “Hey!” she yelled. “That’s mine!”
“Yeah? So what?” asked Kar. “We’re supposed to be working on the project together. It’s not supposed to be me doing all the work and goofing off on your phone!”
Anona crossed her arms with “humpf” as she started to pout. He was right though. She sighed as hr her arms slid down to her sides.
“Fine. Your right. I wasn’t helping all that much. I’m sorry.”
Kar’s face softened a little “I’m sorry too, for stealing your phone.” he said as he tried to hand it back to her.
Anona then pushed his hand away and shook her head. “You might as well hand on to that until after we finish. So, I don’t get distracted.”
Kar nodded and chuckled. “Alright. Fair enough.” he said as he set the phone on the other side of him.
“Now, what were you working?”
Kar smiled and handed her a few papers. Anona took them and read them over. She nodded. “Yeah, I think I can work with this.”
They both started laughing. They laughed for a good bit, before they finally settled down and got back to work.
Kar was running. Running for his life. Monster hunters were right on his tail. He wouldn’t be able to keep this up for long. He slid into a wall, before taking off to the right. He had to hide somewhere. Somewhere where they wouldn’t think to look. But as of right now, there was no where to go, and no one to help him.
