Religions are wrong about how karma functions.
We're taught that if we do right by others, we'll attract experiences we want.
That isn't how it works.
We go through our lives doing good deeds for others, even with no expectation of reward, and instead of remaining in the peace we share with others, we get used and abused. We get projected at and discarded. We get defamed and forgotten, able to only help very few people connect with their inner truths.
Cruel people seem to get handed everything they seek in life, with very little to no effort.
We're living in a matrix construct; a computer simulation which functions the opposite of what religions would have us believe.
Up is down, left is right, right is wrong, good is evil, truth is lies, etc.
This is only a theory, but it's probably why obviously evil people like Musk, Trump, Bezos and Thiel hoard obscene amounts of wealth and power when they could use it to help others and change the world drastically for the better, and are never punished for it. They have so much money and other resources that they could easily eradicate things like poverty and child trafficking worldwide, and still remain comfortably wealthy, yet they don't. They continue to be rewarded for their evils. No one can touch them legally, and they're able to continuously enjoy every freedom and experience that life has to offer. Many people look up to them and have pipe dreams of becoming rich like them.
The new age is a religious grift which is especially egregious for this. People make bank off of brainwashing and taking advantage of vulnerable people, convincing them that they deserve to suffer from negative karma because they were bad in past lives. Oh but they can gradually get some relief, if they just pay $88 a month for their gurus patreon, and spend $111 for regular personal auric tune-ups, plus get the master twin flame diploma for the low price of $1111 😒.
Meanwhile, true occultists like me are bashed or ignored for being realistic about this stuff, and resign ourselves to being (at least mostly) solitude as a result.
