Yay for more OCs! This is Karuki, my Legend of Zelda OC! She’s half-hylian half-gerudo, and she’s a potter! She likes to adventure when she has the chance, but doesn’t often go out of her way to do it. She travels to visit her mother regularly, but mostly lives with her father making and selling paintings and pots.

Soft OC Asks!

🌹 - Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

She feels most at home while traveling. The stationary locations where she feels most at home would be her home village (a small village near Gerudo Desert) and Gerudo Town. However in both places she sticks out just enough that it’s a bit strange, however she simply rolls with it and fits in as best as she can. She was born in her home village. Whenever she’s with her parents she feels most at home, knowing that they would love and accept her no matter what. Home is where you feel safe enough to be yourself, and where you hang up your apron. 

🌻 - What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

Karuki picks up on people’s expressions and how they carry themselves, able to judge for the most part what kind of day they’ve had. When she’s traveling, she loves the sounds of the world. The wind blowing through tree tops and making them rustle, water from rivers moving and splashing up on rocks, the sound of whatever the local wildlife is, etc. She loves it all and sometimes she will listen to the sounds of the world in order to fall asleep. 

💐  - How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Karuki is stubborn and haaates being forced to stay in bed and not allowed to work. She understands why, but she still doesn’t like it. Her father is the most likely to take care of her, and is the only reason she cooperates because she doesn’t wanna make life harder on him. However she kind of does enjoy being doted on, but doesn’t ask anyone to do it. She feels bad for asking for stuff because she wants to take care of things herself since she’s used to it at this point. 

She’s really good at taking care of others though, checking on them regularly and making sure they have what they need, building up a good rhythm. She also jokes around some to try and make whoever is hurt / sick / in need happy, since emotionally feeling bleh while physically feeling bleh sucks.
