Week 13. Setting up for the future, and celebrating our achievements
The vocational school in Kassi Kunda, Gambia is nearing its completion. Jennie, Daniel and the volunteers have gone home, but the second mirrored classroom is not quite finished yet. The locals have been holding close attention to all details in the building process, so they are prepared to finish the fantastic earth and thatch school themselves. I miss the atmosphere and the welcoming nature of the rural village people of Kassi Kunda.
