3 he does not even look 48, or act like a 48yo in any sense that is like. unique to being that age . There are younger characters in the same show who have that kind of maturity/seriousness, his personality isn't an age thing

4 on that note, almost ZERO one piece characters act like their age. Unless a character is like obviously a child or obviously really old you have no way of guessing how old they are based on their design OR their personality. It is literally not even a thought when you're watching the show because in most cases it's a completely irrelevant bit of information that you would never even know if somebody didn't ask it in an SBS and Oda probably threw a random answer at them

6 rational normal people would know that shipping katalu because the characters have a fun dynamic and maybe you have a size kink does not equals you think 19 year olds should be dating 48 year olds irl but then again if this is your immediate thought upon seeing an adult ship where you have to go out of your way to GOOGLE the age gap uh.
